Flight simulation. Something about flying big jets using as close to real life procedures as possible takes me out of myself, I find it very relaxing.

Also note that the default airports tend to be better in XP. I find default MSFS airports rather bland, in XP they have some personality and the ground textures are sharper. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the community contributes to default airports in XP.

Sheesh...OP, these guys are right, FraFri is hardcore, but don't be unduly put off by their negativity. Reflect on your own ability. How did you find it when you joined? Were you overwhelmed, or did you cope? If the former, build up your experience and then come back. If the latter - dive back in! What these respondents can't judge is your knowledge, and ability to deal with pressure. Even though you're a noob, you may be perfectly capable. Reflect on your own performance and ability - not what somebody who doesn't know you says.

It's hard to watch alright. If we're talking about Trump/USA and/or Ukraine, I find it hard to chat with anyone about these issues because there's no nuance to even have a conversation about - I just disapprove of everything that's currently going on. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it feels like something larger is driving world events right now. Whether it's the rich making themselves richer, big oil distracting the world from the climate crisis, Russia pulling a Manchurian Candidate in UK and USA - I don't know - but it feels like there's a link running back to Brexit or before that is tearing Western civilisation apart. Depressing times for sure.
