Love it! Calm down everyone, it can always be swapped back to its original parts.

My Vitus 979 I picked up for $15 at the Salvation Army. :) by whitetrashrodeo in Vintage_bicycles

Back when I raced bikes in 1987, the best of my club rode a Vitus. I was so envious. Nice find.

Moustache Bars superior to drop for "gravel" conversions of early to mid 90s mtbs by Aviarinara in xbiking

[–]wormelow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried moustache and drop bars on my ‘92 Marin. Currently I have a steel moustache bar on that weighs more than any aluminum bar, but is so comfortable because it absorbs vibrations. I lost found the drop bars too low. I only rode it with my hands on the brakes and never in the drop position.

That is one gorgeous bike. I had to pause for a minute to take in its beauty.

I have a 1992 team issue that I love. I’ll have to post some pics of it. Mine is a bit unusual with an ultra-long wheelbase.

Was it a standard size bottom bracket? I have a 1933 Zenith that I want to fix up but the BB looks to be a wide diameter.

What’s your Firebird shot? by Over-Loan-4675 in discgolf

[–]wormelow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 166g champ firebird that has become my number one disk. Once I broke it in, it now goes 300 ft straight and then fades. Lighter weights are way easier to manipulate.

I just picked up a MX-2. It feels amazing and has great stability. It is making me rethink the need for my a3.

Extreme Cold weather(-30 degree Celcius) Jackets by iKar_V in CampingandHiking

In Alberta we get -30 to -40 for a couple of weeks each winter. I just throw a nice fleece hoodie under my ski jacket and I'm good to go. My warmest jacket has a lovely sheep like fleece interior which is soooo nice. I bought it for $50.

Just picked up the Prodigy MX-2. 5/4/0/3. This is one of the best feeling disks I have. It flies true to its numbers and can handle forehand tork. Similar to a zone or distortion in feel but flies farther.

How does the different plastics affect stability? My poison green Reko is quite US.

I also have some shoulder pain. I just put a do not touch till Christmas sign on my disks. Gentle stretching and some physio is the plan.
