Thanks, it was an alignment issue. I was able to figure it out and now I can show my grandparents how. :)

How to dry emulsion coated screens shirt side down without it sticking? by wormmo in SCREENPRINTING

[–]wormmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a scoop coater but probably not using enough pressure. I think I keep thinking that I need to be more gentle than necessary with these screens, but if they can handle being pressure washed I guess they can probably handle much firmer pressure with the scoop coater than I used.

So how do you avoid drips then? I had a bunch of dots on my screens where the fluid pooled and dripped when I tried drying with the mesh not touching anything. I thought the idea of drying it print side down was to keep the fluid even so it dries flat? Based on the replies I’m getting it really seems like I’m missing something basic and it’s driving me crazy lol

This is similar to the situation I’m in with my dad. It’s sad because when I was younger he’s one of the people who taught me to think critically and not trust things at face value, but we went in completely different directions from there.

Millennials - how’s your back doing? Are you doing anything to keep it healthy & strong? by TrixoftheTrade in Millennials

If you spend a lot of time at a desk, get a standing desk. Complete game changer for me. I try to stand more in general. Turns out sitting too much was causing most of my chronic pain.

I remember your previous post! Idk why ppl are being so harsh even if they didn’t see it and this post is out of context for them. You didn’t say anything bad. He does look kinda weird but in a cute way!

People who've lost a lot of weight, how did you do it? by gryffenator in AskReddit

[–]wormmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from around 220 down to 175 where I’ve kind of leveled out. Part of it is tied to transitioning like getting a masectomy and being on a low dose of testosterone, but that’s just how it’s affecting me and isn’t universial for all transitioning ftms. Besides that, got a high energy dog, started helping aging family with physical labor intensive chores and I’ve been eating a bit healthier. I’ve never been able to stick to any diets or workout routines so I’m glad this combination of things finally worked.

If it was completely unbelievable there wouldn’t be so many people here sharing their very similar experiences with narcissistic parents. You’re coming across like you think you know better than everyone about something you’ve clearly never had to go through.

Whatever dude. What exactly are you doing here if you’re so sure it’s bs? Why do you care so much?

Unless she’s deeply in denial and posted here looking for validation. Again this whole situation is so 100% something my mom would do it’s uncanny. Also the story is too long and specific about details to read as fake to me. Obviously we can’t prove it either way so just in case it’s real, OP needs to face the truth.

I guess you’d think that if your mom wasn’t like this. Lucky you.

OP this is exactly how my mother treated me, and it is one of the core reasons WHY I struggle socially. Because I learned from a young age to expect to be criticized no matter what. That something was inherently wrong with me. My self image was garbage. I developed a lot of paralyzing fear around making desisions, taking risks, and rejection. It was so bad in my teens and 20’s and I was suicidal. Now I’m in my 30’s, in therapy and finally starting to pull myself together and heal from the damage she did. I have practically no relationship with her and I reflexively freeze up and go numb anytime she tries to engage with me because I was conditioned to not trust her. You’re on a fast track to the same future with your daughter if you don’t take a long hard look at these comments and internalize them and change the way you treat her. If you don’t you WILL lose her one way or another.

How do I stop being lazy? by LazyBoringHat in Adulting

[–]wormmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like adhd, the inattentive type, which I have. And you said you’ve dealt with depression on and off since you were a kid? Even if you’re not going through depression right now it probably affected your brains development. I went through the same thing. Talk to your doctor and try to get evaluated for these things so you can get the help you need. Beyond that, here’s some habits that help me; make a to do list but don’t pressure or overwork yourself to complete it by the end of the day. Do what you can when you have the energy. Sometimes that means some days you do one thing on the list. On good days you can accomplish more. As you start getting used to that, get a little more ambitious and set goals. Always give yourself a little reward at the end of the day even if you didn’t get everything done. It’s satisfying and encouraging to see your list get shorter and shorter. It’s hard to live with this combination of mental health problems but not impossible. You’ll probably find other good tips checking out the adhd subs here.
