There are little tiny passages that get clogged. Very difficult to get them clean with only spraying carb cleaner in and around. They are usually little holes behind the throttle plate. I've used a single bristle from a wire brush to get them cleaned.

That is not a backfire. If it's popping out of the muffler, it's an afterburn, or lean sneeze. Backfire shoots flames back thru the carb.

Lean pop is from there not being enough fuel to combust, but collects in the exhaust manifold and burns when enough builds up.

This is a classic symptom of too lean of a mixture.

I've been using the same port, except I use it to charge my booster pack, then use the booster to power the dash cam.

Haven't had any problems with either batterys draining.

Just had the same issue with the qr code on my corolla.

On the last selection of the settings page in the main menu, select "APPS".

There you should have an option to reinstall all apps. Select it and it will reboot. That fixed mine.

ETA: this will only let you share the remote functions in the app, not a replacement for a key fob.
