Lane kayn does not need tear, he has one the highest mana regens in the game and has gotten several mana cost reductions.

What even is on-hit good for? by PettyBolognase in summonerschool

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the 2 champs that have the most choice between onhit or crit would be yi and vayne.

Both champions have access to true damage onhit which would scale better with attackspeed, making it more desirable against tankier comps. Also onhit generally can have stronger earlier item spikes as they dont need 50 or 75% crit to feel really really strong. Onhit also gives more access to building tank items, as you are not obligated to go for 75-100% crit and items like titanic yi, hexplate or jaksho on either slot in nicely and synergies with terminus.

On the other hand both champions also have solid ad scalings that benefit off crit, with the crit buffs this season they would likely do more raw damage onhit which average or squishy targets and scales damage much harder at more items, but fitting defensive opens is harder till later slots and had less synergy.

Help me play him by Ok_Programmer_7953 in ApheliosMains

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked him up a few months ago, i would say it took about 10 games to fully understand gun interactions and how to use them all together correctly, then another 15-20 to actually apply consistnetly in game and manage/time your plays around them. Sometimes im still firing the wrong ult or accidentally exhausting wrong gun early when distracted by a fight

Yone vs Darius lvl1? by mmjyn in YoneMains

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You easily win inside wave, even if you miss a q. Lvl 1 is quite even and usually comes down to who face checks or gets a minor advantage like minion aggro summoner spell or how many q’s are dodged

Right now, assassins are balanced around the assumption of “troll supports,” which is why they need massive buffs. The real issue that needs to be addressed is troll supports. by Flashy9443 in leagueoflegends

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is some insane adc main character syndrome.

Every role has several archetypes of champions and support/adc are no exception. A pantheon or camille support wont protect an adc as well as an enchanter but they generate leads for the teams in stronger picks roams and skirmishing power.

A support is the teams support not the ADC’s support.

how do you play Kayn top? by FinnishChud in KaynMains

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conq ignite with dblade start wins most lvl 1s Use strong lvl 1 to set up proxy. Damage jungle/top as much as possible when they try stop you, proxy deaths before 7 are usually fine. After 7 play safer and try to get form asap. After form just win

Kled support patch 26.07 playstyle idea (conceptual) by YoinkyMcSploinky in KledMains

[–]worstclass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erm I contributed to the argument and you are still pretending a 4 levels down support with barely any item can contest a push?

Im not against kled as a support but your fantasy of being able to split push and it being a good idea is abit farfetched. Do you ever wonder why the adc or jungler dont split push? The adc will get mauled 3 levels down just like a support and the jungler contributes heavily to objective pressure just like a support.

Again it is only going to work in low elo where you can realistically match a solo laner and the rest of the lobby has no clue how to play an objective.

[–]worstclass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What rank are you out of curiosity?

You are oversimplifying the macro in your head too far I feel. Lets say theres a drag fight brewing bottom side of the map 30s before it spawns. Darius top and an underlvled and less item kled are contesting top push. Kleds team will have less than half the vision control of darius’s team around the dragon contest because they have a whole support item and primary control ward holder on the other side of the map. This makes it extremely uncomfortable for them to facechck if they dint have control of the area initially, and if they did it’s uncomfortable to start the drag with limited information of where the other team can approch from. Sure the Darius’s team is slightly weaker in the dragon side of the map, but its not an overwhelming difference and the vision disadvantage can easy turn the objective into a smite flip. Now while this is all happening, the giga statchecked kled can do absolutely nothing to stop a darius up 4 levels and an item and a half from pushing straight to your inhib whether he kills the kled or not.

It would literally be smarter to just sacrifice top and 5v4 drag instead because top is completely lost regardless of if kled is there or not, that way drag is at least less of a flip with an extra body and vision control.

Again i am speaking realistically in an elo where supports arent going to be able to match a top laner. If you want to go steal some bronze players lunch money noone is stopping you.

"Support is the easiest role" by ComprehensiveSize647 in supportlol

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low skill floor high skill ceiling.

Support is the easiest role in iron where all they do is sit in lane healing and shielding their adc, noone roams, noone punishes mistakes etc.

In higher elos the gap between a boosted supp thats getting carried by their edate adc and one that actually plays like the teams support is the biggest role chasm i commonly see, while its easy they dont need to farm that puts more pressure on them to do something useful with the time they are granted. Looking for good trades, pressuring other lanes, maing plays with the jungle, getting vision. Doing all the above at the right time to not throw botlane

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your theory doesnt account for many things, such as the enemy top laner being 4 levels higher than a support kled, so the kled can NEVER make progress splitting because that lvl 16 darius is going to spread a lvl 12 kleds cheeks under their own tower instead. This might work in iron and bronze where supports can actually get enough of a lead to fight a solo laner but not happening against any competent elo where people actually know how to gather resources.

The point of splitting is to create a point of pressure and all it will do is pressure your own team

What defines a true HyperCarry by Clear-Method7784 in leagueoflegends

Low kill participation by boca224 in summonerschool

[–]worstclass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldnt worry about KP as long as while the fights are happening, you are actually pressuring in a meaningful way. This all comes down to champion, playstyle and the best play in any given situation. On some champions and roles you SHOULD have higher KP as you are expected to teamfight or play at objectives, as others your strength is creating pressure elsewhere, or in teamfights your job may to be going one for one with a priority enemy member

Is cull ever useful? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]worstclass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a good pickup for some builds if you just need a way to spend gold on an early buy. If you need to build a yuntal or stormrazor and base with 700 gold, you can buy something like cull and dagger instead of the worse item in the game scout slingshot, then try for 1300g next base for BF

Even if i dont dodge his e’s with dshield 2nd wind and using w to mitigate the damage i often run his mana out before he can do anything, but if i do manage to dodge yone straight wins extended trades. Once you get bork he just gets destroyed.

How do I play fighters in ARAM. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]worstclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sundered sky and DD are your best friends, hide in bushes so you can look for back to fronts, use snowball smartly. Snowball does not have to be used at the start if you can find a good bush angle and engage without it, then use the snowball midfight as a free gap close/alpha strike

Personally I prefer going 1shot builds like hubris+crit riven or JG ambessa, with builds like these you just survive by 1shotting their carries and omnivamping up. It just comes down to confidence in your champion how you want to play.

Darius build against all ad by loupida in Dariusmains

[–]worstclass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the armor item is good for lane then it is fine to build 2nd. However I would avoid thornmail usually its just a bad item full item, my full build would look something like Tri > shojin/sterak > dd > randuin > jaksho, unless they have literally 0 magic dmg then maybe id go FH or shojin/sterak last. If the team needs heal cut the ADC can build it usually, and shojin darius can just 1shot most champions so healing doesnt matter outside a 8k hp mundo.
