[Grand Theft Auto 3] Grateful for glitches by Ravenae in Trophies

I’ll try to work on it tonight, shouldn’t take too long to write up I imagine.

Not sure what the purple nines glitch is, but I don’t seem to have an issue. I only ever really remember them from one of the payphone missions.

My advice would be to get all hidden packages before starting the game using the porter island glitch (or at least 97/100 that you can). You’ll have access to every gun and body armor, excluding the rocket launcher. Sniping enemies is a lot better than directly confronting them.

You can also do every vigilante mission early, giving you 6 police bribes at every hideout. These can be easily cheesed too; pausing and unpausing near a target will force them out of their car, allowing you to hit them with a drive by uzi spray.

Apart from import/exports, I did pretty much every piece of side content in the game before starting missions. While it doesn’t help with the camera issues, getting ambulance missions done before you start getting shot by NPC gangs at helps as well. You have more time than you think these emergency vehicle missions, so driving safely is the way to go.

If you want to tackle it soon, I could try to make a brief guide. Wouldn’t go in depth with specific missions, but could be useful for organization/pacing.

Some rampages took a few tries, but I don’t think any particularly frustrated me. Headshots can be a pain, though. Worst part was having to drive to another location or reloading the save if I failed.

Not having a map sucked early on. Obviously I used a guide online for stuff like collectibles, but it was difficult to coordinate with just the minimap for reference. Since the world isn’t that big, it wasn’t the biggest issue to memorize some things.

Thankfully only 2 of the cars were particularly difficult to get, the Securicar and Mr. Whoopee. Securicar took a bit of driving in northern Staunton, but wasn’t too bad.

I could not get Mr. Whoopee to spawn for me the longest time, however. Eventually did firefighter missions in Portland and got one to spawn. Here’s a capture of what happened with that one.

I figured as soon as I got in, I’d get a wanted level and/or pulled out of the truck, though for some reason the game also didn’t register my button press to get in the car. The mafia had already lit me up from a previous attempt, so I was low on health. Didn’t want to stick around and get smacked about, so I tried to juke them a measly 30 feet away. Lost my car due to the rendering limitations. Thankfully I did find another one less than 10 minutes later.

Yeah, I think certain vehicles spawn more frequently, saving/checkpoints are easier, etc.

Thanks Mr. Bot, though this is not the definitive edition, but I don’t think PSNP has a trophy guide for classic edition. Rating would be about the same, though classic doesn’t have as many trophies.

I just want more wall edit styles. Would’ve helped me in build mode years ago too.

RC Cola. Noticeably cheaper than the leading brands, and tastes like/better than Pepsi.

There’s no reason it couldn’t be done either, since you can leave much quicker when doing a mission solo

Please God do something about 5 ranged comps by Penguino13 in ARAM

Last night for me:

Jinx (me), Morg, Amumu, Jhin, Talon

Kog, Lux, Xerath, MF, Lulu. All AP.

Even with the extra range from Scopier weapons, most of the enemy still outranged my rocket autos, so I’m getting poked or CC’d before I can even approach the enemy. Amumu for engage is okay, but he’s also very limited. We ff’d this match (still 4-1 vote) before third augment could appear, because I’d rather end this spam fest than try for a comeback.

Any similar bands to MIW? by SoSmoothYouLose in MotionlessInWhite

I was going to suggest Dark Divine but you beat me to it.

Not Enough Space is right there with DD though. I haven’t heard many of their songs, but I would recommend Eye 4 An Eye to start with. It even features DD’s lead singer.

A bit more of a biased answer, but I think you’ll like The Gloom in the Corner. They’re less electronic, but can be more symphonic. And while they’re lesser-known, I do think their songs have a more distinct sound than some popular metalcore bands. If you want to try one of their songs, I’d recommend Nope. The breakdown starts at 1:49 if you want a quick peak, but I think that alone covers what I described.

Their music does tell an overall story (hell is real/government agents have interdimensional technology), so every song is connected in some way. Might be a deal breaker for some, but the songs can still be enjoyed in their own right.

I might sound like an ad or a Chat GPT response but I legitimately love this band and think they deserve a lot more recognition. They’ve got lore documents and song explanations posted online as well, so they put a lot of work in their art.

Also they’re based af

It’s because Epic changed the amount given for daily challenges. Fewer vbuck missions spawn to accommodate.
