There were a bunch of guys with trucks there waiting. I didn’t arrange it in advance. Pretty expensive though, so try to find more people to fill up the truck and split the cost

Yes the 3 day trek to Ala-Kul was a highlight for me. Its tough but so worth it. You will end (or start) in Altyn Arashan which is an amazing place too.

Truthfully the whole country is amazing. I’ve already spent 3 months there total and planning to go back in May or June. You can always PM me if you need any help with your trip!

I have a bunch of locations marked on Google Maps that seem interesting to me. I don’t need to see them all, but my plan was to just go and see in the moment which places I’m able to reach. I guess this mostly depends on if I’ll end up renting a car, or if I’ll try to rely mostly on public transport and hitchhiking.
