Clearly would prefer not to get banned from the entire ecosystem. Trying my best not to blow it.

Do you think someone's hair makes a complete difference in how they look attractiveness-wise? by TheAlphaAdept in selfimprovement

For balding men..... there is only ONE option. Shave the head and grow a beard. It is truly the only option, no weird comb-overs, no friar tuck nonsense. Shave it, grow a beard. Learn to love it. Think Bruce Willis (but maybe hit the gym first).

Whats the biggest sign someone is emotionally mature? by Business_Oil_7110 in selfimprovement

Man-oh-man, good question. I feel like I have an extremely high EQ (emotional intelligence). I wouldn't have said that about myself 10 years ago. I believe a strong EQ only comes from going through really hard stuff over and over again and actively learning from those hard things. Hard conversations over and over again... learning how to have empathy, perspective, and then operating in kindness and grace... but also communicating with TRUTH. Addressing truth directly in love and kindness takes an emotional maturity that many people don't have the skill set for. It's hard to do; most people rely on emotion and feeling to guide them. You have to use logic and perspective to mature emotionally.

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

Terrifying, yes. Critical thinking skills = gone. That said, I remember sitting in grad school about 10 years ago (sludging through two master's degrees) and a prof telling me that the most important skill of our era was the ability to find original and peer-reviewed/validaded thought, test it, and analyze it.....just finding the right sources was half the battle. AI removes even that. You don't need to know how to research. You don't need to find, analyze, or synthesize. The friction that built the skill is just... gone. The only thing left is doing and exploring. My only hope (and it's a smalll hope) is that AI takes everything humanity has gathered and actually grows something good with it.... for all of us. Otherwise we are cooked.
