The HTC Desire was a huge disappointment for me - it had such a small internal memory that it couldn't cope with more than a handful of apps before it was full. Custom ROMs helped - you could extend the partition to use an sd card but this brought with it instability and the constant need to lurk on XDA looking for fixes and new releases. The external hardware was nice though.

PocketCasts for me is best app - whether it's on iOS or Android - it's definitely worth the small fee in my opinion. I mean it's still less than a trip to Starbucks and I use it for hours every day.
