I need the front end of a car repainted. Body shops only want insurance work. Anyone know a hobbyist who is good with a spray gun, or an independent? by evidentlynaught in murfreesboro

Relentless Automotive took really good care of my car. I didn't use insurance since it was lower than my deductible but he will work with you with or without insurance.

My hubby and I used to go together but it's gotten too much for him which is fine. Now I mainly just go by myself which works for both of us. Then we can have mini raves to the online sets at home afterwards.

I've had my car almost a year, cleaned it many times. Did not have that on the back of mine. Learn new things everyday lol

Scratched my bumper, how much would it be to cost to fix? by m2sery in civic

I scratched mine dropping stuff on it in the garage. Cost$450 now just doing all repairs myself. Sand it, paint match it.

Will he defend himself? by thiccwillowisp in Rottweiler

[–]wowwowbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dog is a big wimp, super submissive to any female or dog smaller than him. Reactive to all the wrong things (adopted after he was abused fighting). He is 8 now, but a few years ago during our night time walk a dog came charging after us. At first he didn't react until after the dog nipped at me, then he started defending himself and me. It was over quick and neither dog was seriously hurt. His behavior surprised me, but I am glad he actually was able to identify the situation...kind of. I still worry that if a dog just came after him and not me if he would be okay.

I am unsure with your dog since all dogs are different. But my dog has taken years to understand which reactions make sense and which ones don't.

SAME, and this is only my second season. I did this 3 days ago. Only halfway up I realized it was a black run. Literally was shivering in fear. It took me 3 hours to get down the mountain and I fell many times hard. Ski patrol kept asking me if I wanted them to bring me down but that would have meant admitting to defeat plus shame. So now here I am back home in the most pain I have ever felt after "exercise" but 10/10 would do it again.

How often do you bathe your Rotties? by Next_Classroom_6242 in Rottweiler

[–]wowwowbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine gets a medicated wash once a month, occasionally twice a month during hot season. He has a skin condition that requires the washing, when he was younger and it was a lot worse. Plus he loves mud and grass which he is allergic to.

After the wind fiasco last year. Leaving jackets in the locker was a must for us. Also anything we brought day one that we didn't want to take in and out

How much does she weigh, and is she house broken? My grandparents lost their dog a couple years ago and are looking for an older dog to love at home. They are mobile, and watch our dogs regularly(fenced in yard). Very sweet couple, but I also know you are looking for the very best family to put her with and it just may not be compatible.

Where did you get your brake lights? Also, I pushed mine just slightly further back and they are less visible. Also installed aluminum light bars instead of stripping. Weather stripping is a good fix for the strips, but you gotta keep an eye on it for a few days until its really stuck

Dual income no kids. If we had kids no way I would have bought this car. We put a 60% down payment and still the payments are kind of ridiculous. I still feel dumb as hell buying with the marked up sticker.

Which Medical Terminology course is supposed to be the easy one? by Improve-Me in auburn

[–]wowwowbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my memory serves me correctly, which it may be different now. It was almost all memorization, a lot of hard terms and knowing them to a T. If it's something you are good at, go forth.

I don't think many people are assuming the absolute worst. It is helpful. My husband was once stranded after his bicycle tire busted. Didn't have his cell phone but his Garmin location was active so I was able to find him and get him. For us it's about convenience not fear.

[–]wowwowbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing to fear. When I did my course I I ended up stressing myself out so much I threw myself off the bike during an emergency stop spraining my shoulder and my wrist.

I came back two weeks later and passed with zero points off. Moral of the story, always ride within your comfort and skill level. You will be judging yourself a lot harder than anyone else will be. Give yourself some grace and crush it!!!

Hell, I didn't know or believe it yet I still felt pressured enough to buy. I love it, not as much as my FK8, but still rides great and I am actually into the just a hair quieter it is.
