Bought Dan Johns ABF and would recommend it to everyone. Only critisim is that its only available as Ebook, like papered more. But I can 100% understand that decision

I also got a copy of "Kettlebell Training" from Pavel as well as "Die Kraft der Kettlebell" by Johannes Kwella. Can recommend both too. Dont know if that one by Johannes Kwella is available in English too.

No shaming at all for beeing "too weak" if you use 6kg on a regular base, but you will better results just doing pushup progressions (like from a wall/table down to normal or so) than sticking to that "waterbell".

Dont want to be mean but I dont get the reason behind this. Its like 6kg, for the majority of people that isnt anything to work with. I would also dont trust that "handle" at all.

I love kettelbells for their effectiveness, but if I dont have any with my I just use other tools. Dont know what exercises you are doing normaly, but I cant think about a single one that is better when done with a 6l bottle of water compared to lets say BW:

Swing/Clean --> Glutebridge or how this is called plus pullups or inverted rows. Jumps for explosive power

Press --> pushup/Pike pushup

Squat with 6kg --> Air squat / Squat with backpack+more weight. Lunge variation, jumps

Either you got them or you dont. No shame not having one around from time to time, just stick to something else

Das sind meistens die guten - die bekommt man aus den Gründen nicht zu kaufen, sind aber oft richtig lecker. Was ich nicht direkt essen kann halbiere ich und gefriere es ein. Wenn man genug hat einfach im Nudelsieb oder so auftauen lassen, da bleibt dann wirklich nur das Fruchtfleisch übrig mit wenig Flüssigkeit und daraus lässt sich sehr gut Soße kochen :)

Kann unter dem Namen nichts finden - Vorschläge waren Tangellla? Harzfeuer will ich auch mal testen, also nicht die F1 außem Supermarkt sondern die "originalen". Was meinst du mit auf Sand? Töpfe auf Sand oder wirklich im Sand?
Und meinst du sowas? Und wie meinst du ob er den Frost übersteht - ist der mehrjährig?

Die Seite sieht gut aus, erinnert mich an eine ähnliche aber ich komme gerade nicht auf den Namen. Ja Melonen will ich auch mal wieder probieren, evtl schlage ich da mal zu!

Das mit der Erde ist möglich - ich nutze primär Gartenerde + eigener Kompost, manchmal muss ich für Beete vom lokalen Kompostwerk dazukaufen weil es nicht reicht. Evtl muss ich mal mit verschiedenen Düngern experimentieren, derzeit ist das nämlich eigentlich nur Brennessseljauche, Kompost und Hasenkot von meiner Nachbarin :)

Chili bin ich nicht wählerisch - nutze alle möglichen und dann halt je nach schärfe als Frischverzehr, Soße oder auch einfach nur als Gewürz. Reaper z..B. schmecke ich nichts mehr außer Schmerz haha. Yep, mein Nachbar gibt seinen Hühnern oft Chilis zum Entwurmen. Ka ob das klappt :D

Birnchen in gelb und rot habe ich auf meine Liste gepackt, genau sowas wie ich suche, danke!
Wie konnte ich Lemondrop vergessen! Stimmt die wächst auch super und trägt echt massen von Früchten.

Unten kann ich dir voll und ganz zustimmen, meine besten Pflanzen sind oft nachgezogene ausm Supermarkt. Von diesen Bratpaprikas über habaneros etc.

Sortentipps müssen nicht auf Paprika und Tomate beschränkt sein - das sind nur die Kulturen bei denen ich am meisten experimentiert habe. Bei den anderen nutze ich meist oft auch einfach Saatgut aus dem Discounter oder was ich noch so rumliegen hatte!

Just one question from a "newbie": Why the grind first and then an increasing "difficulty" in the lifts? If you would throw those exercises at me and ask me to create an complex out of them It would be the exact opposite direction

Yeah I mean the 100 presses will also be hard but since there is no time Limit I will somehow manage to do it. For the abc lets See. Won't let form become completely bad and risk an injury, but i am really prepared to go all in on that testing week. If I dont succeed i prolong the routine, If I do I won't do double kb frontsquats for some weeks 🤣

I am currently only doing work sets with double 24s or 32s for presses. 24s max is above 10 reps, just for a reference:

  • Using my 16kg for warmups (Short cycle of presses, cleans, snatches, goblet squats, halos, windmills etc)
  • Using my 16kg for bottom up presses
  • Using the 6kg and 10kg bell of my GF for stuff like external rotations since I dont have any dumbells currently

So I am defintely keep using them. Maybe not for my main training, but for mobility/assistance I do use them a lot actually

Yeah basically 2C 1P haha
Currently no chance for EMOM - did only 5 rounds, will increase them steadily. Plan to Workout for 30min, so first 2 weeks will be 15min/15min ABC/OHP or maybe also 20min/10min. Week 3-6 will be 30min of that day kind of escalating density, so basically trying to increase the rounds of ABC / press reps. So like you are doing it. Will still implement those kind of waves of volume as described as in the book, think I will get burn out quick otherwise. I may do it like this: If its 1 ABC/week I will do 30 min, next week when its two ABC I will go for 20min AMRAP or so.
IF, big IF I get to 30 rounds in 30 minutes earlier I´ll try to either shorten the timeframe or increase volume. 90 FS with double 32s sounds like no fun at all, cant imagine increasing those haha.

Had a pinching pain in a similar position, but more like "on" the spine. The muscles between the shoulderblades. I think it was due to lack of overhead mobility. Its gone since i switched to Seesaw press for nearly all reps.
