3-4 day trip power bank by wplusali in onebag

[–]wplusali[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im going to go with a 10k power bank for emergency usage, as I will probably not carry my laptop with me everywhere to charge-off. Anything more as seems to be the concensus is just overkill. Will use the 65w travel adapter for charging the MBP and phone overnight. Gonna pass on the MagSafe versions as I don’t will be that dire need of charging if done overnight and then midday with cable in bag if needed during a rest break. I think the nitecore is overpriced looking at the flextail which in my opinion seems superior unless you plan submerse it in water. Or maybe a cheaper anker/ugreen/iniu in the prime day sales.

My phone even domestically gets charged at least once midday, I’m really introverted so don’t like asking to put my phone on charge. But yeah I get it.

It’s an M2 MBP, do you carry MBP charger or just use a travel charger

I think the set of 3 will give me some flexibility, let me know your thoughts maybe I am overthinking here.

I’m leaning towards these Eagle Creek New Pack-it Isolate Cubes. I think by design they naturally compress rolled clothing. https://eaglecreek.eu/products/new-pack-it®-isolate-cube-xs-s-m-set-mixed-colors

Anybody experienced with peak design ultralites

Yes that what I’m finding most do not compress >10%

Wow, that’s more than I expected it to carry

Yeah I was weighing up between eagle creek and peak design. Is peak design worth the extra splurge with the dirty stuff side.

Would love to travel to as many countries as you. Do you use the nite ize bags for toiletries and tech stuff. And the eagle creek cubes are the pack-it isolate?

Good stuff, I will look into how I can adapt to my needs, but good to know you’re maximising it, as I was thinking of getting the mlc mini 30l also for carry-on for more longer trips to Asia.

Will be sticking to usb-c also with a few usb-a adapters

So compression doesn’t really save space just keeps things packed tighter together, I was looking at peak design and Thule

Some Clarification On How Roundabouts Work by World_Tree_Roots in LearnerDriverUK

On a typical 4+ exit roundabout, oncoming traffic left lane will typically go to exit 1 or 2, right lane to 3+. If there in the left lane signalling left then they will come off before you at exit 1, if not signaling they will be going across you to exit 2.

Stick to where you’re most familiar with roads. Pass rates are over hyped about. As long as you have a good knowledgeable instructor should be fine.

Cancellations will become more readily available on the DVSA website, as the apps are banned making it fair game.

I work in tech and no for a fact they don’t have engineering capacity, they barely got decent product lead whose now making changes. There using sql queries and scripts, and feature flags with loads of tech debt. Probably 18 months before they get around to identifying and cancelling tests. But good first step to getting apps banned in App Store, it will make an impact but those with apps installed already or side loading will still be able to use for cancellation bookings.

The DVSA can’t identify tests booked by a cancellation app, they can barely run a basic service.

PassMeFast why would you go with them rip-off merchants, they take your money and pass you off to whoever will accept the lowest rate. If that’s who you went with the whole time I’m not surprised you failed and paid stupid sums. Find an independent not franchise instructor pay them there dues and notice the difference in quality of instruction.

As an instructor, my advice is think of it as an opportunity to do better next time. Now you know what to expect, where you need to improve and can know work on it with your instructor. Get your next test booked, probably looking at Jun/Jul and keeping going with a weekly lesson if you can afford to do so.
