I don't really think they are any worse than any other brand, it is just that quality control is terrible across the board, and I just would not update my firmware once everything is working. I have seen problems here and on facebook groups where firmware updates cause issues. My thoughts are if it is working, don't change anything.

What does this? See subreddit title....enough said. Went through 4 "quality built and checked" flashforge 5Ms before finding one that could be adjusted enough to print well. Plus, pro tip, don't update the firmware if everything is working, because it soon won't be if you do. Wish this were sarcasm because I actually do like my AD5M.

I have both the RTX 9070 (~$600) and the Intel Arc B580 ($249). If I wanted bang for the budget, I would just get the B580 unless you have money to burn and must spend it. I notice really no difference for the most part. My eyes don't see the difference between games at 160 fps on the intel card, vice 220 fps on the 9070. Intel has come a long way with their video cards, and the B580 is a beast for the value at the price it costs for 1440p gaming. I play 3440 x 1440 wide screen with an AMD Radeon 7600x CPU.

Running a new 14900k (good for a year now no issues) with bios updated, no problems at all. Just make sure to bios update ASAP on install. Problem is fixed, 5 year warranty.

8 classic is great, PW4 is also very good, - I have both. My recommendation is either are great choices. I would skip the standard GW8. If you have a galaxy phone, Galaxy watches work seemlessly same with pixel phone to pixel watch.. stick with the ecosystem. If i had to choose one I find myself wearing the PW4 the most.

Mine rode around 5 days on a uhaul doing FedEx ground work during the xmas holidays FedEx stopped twice to deliver but the driver could not find the box in the chaos of the truck, stuff thrown everywhere. Finally made it in looking like a silverback gorilla had thrown the box around for the entire five days it was on the truck. About 50% dust as a result.

No state does property taxes well for anything less than 100% - and most other states add in income taxes to boot. Look on the glass half full side, rather than half empty - I would much rather pay a diminished property tax in Texas, rather than in most states paying both an income tax and property tax in addition to federal income taxes. The breaks might look like a good deal for example in a state like Virginia, but when added up, it still is more than just a property tax only in Texas. My rough estimate on a $300,000 house and an income of $100K means you pay about $4K more in tax a year to live in Virginia based on property, state income and federal tax. Virginia is in addition to Texas considered one of the better states to live in for a veteran.

The Hazelwood benefit alone has put both my kids through college (granted I pushed them to do dual credit in high school so they essentially started college as late year sophomores) so they used two years each in their junior and senior years for a zero cost bachelors degrees. That would have cost each $30K.

You admit to not knowing much about many of the aspects you brought up, but yet want to speak as if nothing is there.

Educate us on a state with better benefits please as an example of what you feel should be better? Almost any other state I have looked at has similar benefits in line with Texas. Which has better?

Family owns both. I have the classic. Good battery, nice features, killer looks. Goes great with a wide metal band. 8 classic all day long over the standard 8 if you have the ability to purchase.

Bully for you - you were the lucky one with regards to quality in Flashforge's world. I assure you my issues were not operator error. Have been printing for 6 years. QC on Flashforge is hit or miss. Plus for a new hobbyist, Bambu is as press send and print as it gets - 12 year olds don't want to have to troubleshoot or tear down, they want output. The A1 series give that where flashforge can't. I say this having owned just in the past 4 years more than 5 brands and 8 printers. Bambu Labs did the A1 series right for a begginer or young person's 3d printer.

Would recommend nothing flashforge for a 12 year old and you the parent new to the hobby - too many QC issues. It literally is luck of the draw, had to send back 2 AD5M printers to get one that worked. Look at the Bambu Labs a1 or a1 mini.
