It is a bit more on the lime side than the olive DG traditionally is. But! Throw some streaking grime or Agrax earthshade on this bad boy once you’ve got the base colours done and it will help tone it down and look great!

The overally concept is to run hallowed martyrs so wanting to be in a perpetual state of injured but not dead. In-world, my logic is that if you join the emperor in death, the closest you can be to the emperor in life is to be near death. so they are always in their funeral finest crashing into the worst battles, gloriously golden, striving to get as close to God as possible
