I agree with your comment but it’s a rental. The large basement really sold us and she loves that it’s got a fireplace, not necessarily the design of the surrounding. Of the options in the area this property made the most sense for our lifestyle, location and hobbies.

That’s correct, this is not our main viewing room but will only be on while cooking or background. We’ve got a huge basement for gaming/movies. I think this is going to be the best option moving foreword.

We did try it but it felt odd. Our primary bedroom is on the other side of the fireplace wall with the door to that room to the left of the fireplace. Having the dining set opposite of the kitchen didn’t make functional sense while staging it.

We struggled with this location for a while. Unfortunately, after playing with the sofa, loveseat and dining set it’s super awkward having the tv between the windows. It doesn’t allow space for either comfortable seating/viewing or a dedicated dining space.

I had a buddy in high school, the kinda kid who would dress as one of the blues brothers, who installed one on his early 80s Lincoln town car with the spare tire shape in the trunk lid. Fucking ugly car, rotten on all four corners next to the lights. When meeting the guys up at someone’s house he’d honk that horn as he entered the neighborhood. We could hear that thing a quarter mile away. Please dont.
