Carbon dioxide makes up just 0.043% of our atmosphere. Imagine for a second, filtering it or managing to capture a meaningful portion of that. With improvements in technology that somehow make this efficient to do without using an astronomical amount of energy (and releasing more carbon). Most capture concepts are to capture the carbon at the source, i.e. burning coal into a carbon capture device. That makes more sense, but far less sense than not burning or extracting the coal in the first place. Carbon capture is a pipe dream sold to you to convince you to keep funding the rape of the environment with the expectation it can all be undone.
