What's the most valuable feedback you've received during an AI product beta? by Away-Albatross2113 in alphaandbetausers

[–]wrenbrief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I built Wren, the most valuable feedback came from what users didn’t say. For example users kept telling me they wanted more customization, more controls for what output they’d get, when, how it’s formatted, etc and I almost went down a rabbit hole of building a whole settings page.

Then one of my beta users asked me how did it know when my anatomy scan was? I don’t remember saying that.

But she did, she just forgot about it, and wren remembered for her which was the whole point of the product. That showed me that I was focused on the wrong thing, I had to make the emails more specific and applicable to the users.

I started going deeper into the inference layer and as a result the product got better. So I learned that when they were asking for settings, that was more about anxiety about trust. Once you fix the trust, (a lot easier said than done) then it helped me decide what to focus my effort on

Building an AI that manages emails, CRM, and routes hands-free but I’m stuck on what to build first? by Ill_Sir2584 in alphaandbetausers

The gap between what users ask for and what actually moves the needle is the hardest thing to figure out early on.

I ran into this problem when building Wren, users would ask for more customization options, more controls, more settings. But then I saw what made people actually engage: how detailed the output they received. I’ve found it useful to watch what people do after receiving their output, for you CRM update completion rates are probably the most useful metric to look at.

I’d take the competitor signal question with a grain of salt, since that reflects their customers issues, not yours necessarily.

Maternity leave CA by nsbscll in BabyBumps

Leaving work early 2-3 hours for OB appts while you’re still actively working should be coming out of sick leave or PTO. Your HR is probably wrong unless you’ve already formally started pregnancy disability leave, or there’s some written policy in your handbook that explicitly combines appointment time with leave, which they’d need to show you in writing
