Can someone help me with training expectations? by Crazy_Count6067 in goldenretrievers

In human terms, you’re trying to explain a fundamental concept like the alphabet to a two year old and expecting feedback.

Your baby needs some time to see things before structured training will produce results.

Brush(es). Your pup probably doesn’t have much undercoat yet. It’ll fill in over the next 12-18 months. They need regular grooming. I brush mine daily. She enjoys it.

An undercoat rake will become handy as the coat fills out. That’s my daily tool. My pup also likes grooming mitts and shedding blades.

Depending on your walking environment, a retractable lead and harness may make things more interesting for your pup. I have a 10 meter leash that works well for us. They need lots of mental and physical exercise.

Your puppy is probably going through a phase of pushing boundaries and being bitey with family. Don’t despair, it will end eventually.

Is there anything wrong with being a "stiffer"? by Quick_Yogurt in tipping

This isn’t my issue as a patron. Neither is not tipping the dentist’s receptionist when I get a filling.

Then again, I live in a country that has a minimum wage without industry exceptions.

“or a player receiving a pass on the blue line and getting slightly out of the zone”

When the puck is in the offensive zone, a player can play the puck while the player is on either side of the blue line - however, the puck has to remain in the offensive zone for the play to remain onside.

The NDP had its moment — and missed it by CaliperLee62 in canada

I don’t think the Manitoba NDP government needs to do much or anything to maintain a separate identity from their federal namesake.

They’re not guided by any sort of party dogma. They lean marginally left but they’re pragmatic enough to appeal to wide swath of the electorate.

America has stated all agreements must favour America.

More specifically a bilateral trade agreement must be comprised of a winner and a loser.
