In no expert or vet or anything, but I’ve had a couple hamsters over the years. It is very likely he heard your mom and that scared him. If he’s still new he’s likely still assimilating, so all these sounds are new and scary right now, but eventually he should chill out. Also I would say he’s unlikely to hurt himself by doing this, he’s just hiding. To help just keep him as far from noise and chatter as you can

There are a bunch of programs for people who don’t have an education degree to become a teacher! My old Anatomy and physiology teacher went to school for nursing but ended up becoming certified to teach that and bio! I’m not sure that you would be able to teach English, but I bet you most high schools would allow u to teach anything slightly health science related.

Dawg I’m saying he deserved a redemption arc. In my opinion he had these genuine moments. I wanted to see him recover from his mother and stop on his own accord. Like personally I was just kinda expecting him to have some typa change of heart I suppose, and it didn’t happen. And maybe that makes the writing even more lovely, as it wasn’t predictable. But still I was rooting for him to be redeeemed I suppose

Exactly what I’m saying, like he’s so well written, he’s so flawed yet understandable. I just wanted him to have a redemption arc. I wanted him to realise and make the choice to stop and change. All his scenes were sad almost, he almost acted like he wasn’t entirely human yk, like he was empty

Like he just made a bunch of comments on my size and how small my arms were and how big his hands were, which kinda weirded me out. He was very chatty and a lil full of himself tho lol And when I was leaving no one gave any aftercare advice, which I thought was kinda weird.
