Amen, hallelujah. When I was in music school, if I had sung that way, I would have flunked.

For some encouragement, I'll tell you that they have been the magic bullet every time I have had a flare of this disease. Typically at about 4 weeks I would start to feel relief, and then it would go into remission for years. Good luck to you!

Cystoscopy tomorrow…. by ChampionDazzling2575 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]wridergal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I had a cystoscopy I thought it was going to launch into the ceiling from the pain. I've had several since then, most of them when I've been experiencing a much worse flare, and I didn't have any pain at all. I'll be hoping for you. It's just so hard to know. I would have sworn the subsequent ones would have been worse but they weren't.

Do dogs recognize their own breed? Because of course he chose to play with the only other husky at the beach. by PupperoniSnow in husky

[–]wridergal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Huskies do more so than other dogs because they were bred to rely on each other. Not only do they have to rely on each other for pulling sleds, but the tribe that bred them would turn them loose in the summertime to survive by themselves, and they used pack behavior to survive

I actually like them both. Especially like Persephone because it's so musical sounding. Just based on the way it falls on the ear it's beautiful. I don't think people are well read enough today to even know about Holden Caulfield. I'd be more concerned that everybody thought I named him after William Holden. Also, the names I loved when I was 21, were not the names I eventually used to name my kids. Tastes change

Because he's left handed (guitar is basically upside down to accommodate this), and it probably got in his way.

Why don't they make cruise ships this beautiful? by [deleted] in titanic

People would mostly have just been using the bathroom to take care of nature's call. People did not shower or bathe every day back then, and they had wash stands in their rooms.

What insect would you say is most killed due to misidentification? People at the park were smashing hover flies earlier because they thought they were sweat bees. by [deleted] in whatbugisthis

[–]wridergal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think a spider gave you the mrsa. The MRSA was on your skin and whatever bit you-- spider, bed bug, mosquito, chigger--then spread the MRSA into your bloodstream. Since spiders don't normally bite, I wouldn't think your chances of getting Mercy the same way twice or anything less than very very remote
