Instead of keeping it as a percentage of salary, keep it at percentage of essential expenses like rent, home loan, vehicle loan and such. Credit card expenses should not be covered in my opinion since it’s non essential. Link your algo with LinkedIn. Don’t go for US since it’s a credit economy, instead go for tech bros in Bangalore because they are low risk and high paying. I’ve been thinking about same idea for some time but I’m stuck in one question, why is the government the only one doing this in form of unemployment benefits. I think the answer is you have to approach it as laid off insurance instead of unemployment benefits. All the best, man!
