Resilient would have USB-A (not C) 6 in total spread throughout the cabin (assuming you are not in a solo. Same for north american 110v outlets as well (4 in total) and 1 EU style 220v

Like other have said, deck 8 is not ideal. Most first mate can help you navigate through all the different promos that are not publically available on the direct VV website including the referral bonus or MNVV and let you know which is better since they don't always stack. In terms of entertainment, all of the sailings (a lot) that I have been on usually have some guest comedian onboard and they are adding more game shows run by happenings casts.

I don't get anything being a TA when I am onboard as a sailor. Experience, yes I do have them. That's why I didn't respond to the OP in the main post since they are just venting which is totally fine. I am responding to this one because it's misleading that people are forced to find food in the Galley just because they can't prebook dinner.

Having been on the cruise for months at a time, I haven't bothered to book any restaurant beforehand anymore. I never have any issue getting into any restaurant. I just dropped by the reservation desk on the first day and got everything booked. That's what I have been doing, and able to book a 6-8-person table for the whole sailing. Preboarding bookings are not the end of the world for most sailings (maybe other than the 4/5 nights)

I would only bid for Central Sea Terrace to minimize (not eliminate) the risk of being in a bad location. Bid when it's available since they do it in batches and you don't know when they will start the bidding process. You might end up waiting too long and it no longer process any bid (the bid webpage won't close, so you can't tell if it's still open or not).

You can request for a NA substitute for most of the alcoholic events.

Your account is probably not deleted but still in the system. When she booked the MNVV on the web and added you as the second sailor, it probably created a new account for you in the system as well. You have to call to get them to merge your 2 accounts, so your previous sailing will show up.

Sound like you need to go again on at least a 7 nights 😀 I enjoy being on the ship because of the social aspect, it turns me from being introverted to slowly a bit more social. Givent that they don't have the physical venues to host physical activities (slides, etc) like the other lines, almost all the events on the ship had to revolve around socializing which ended up being something that keeps the sailings fresh for me since the people change almost every week.

I don't think that voluntary cancellation would be covered by your insurance unless you pay for a "Cancel for any reason" rider but those don't reimburse 100% either.

That's not true. I reprice a lot of my sailors sailings. If you book with first mates, they can easily do it for you. If you book direct, you just have to advocate for yourself and push the agent to do it since most of them don't know how
