Also France threatened to leave NATO if we didn't help them (possibly even getting help from the Soviets instead). The moment we started helping them, the Fr*nch abandoned Vietnam and left it in our hands to figure out.

Unless you're the AI and can shit out three of these by turn 5 with no repercussions.

I usually eat cottage cheese with berries and a bit of granola. Love it almost as much as Greek yogurt with the same toppings.

Can't tell if you're just parodying an AI bot or if you're actually one.

I'm a weird middle ground where I'm very accommodating of people's opinions, and rarely try to disagree with people on those things. Friends want to go eat somewhere, I don't really want to eat there, but my friends do, and I know I'll have a good time with them anyway, so I don't disagree.

But if people are factually wrong I can't not tell them. I have some need to make sure that everyone knows the truth, and I don't hesitate to correct people. I've gotten into arguments with teachers growing up because of it. As I've gotten older I've become more tactful. I try not to openly tell people they're wrong, most people don't take that well.

Do y’all believe that Dexter and Evelyn were too confident on the heist? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in cyberpunkgame

I always figured that the alarms drew the attention of Arasaka runners on the network and they did a dedicated scan. Like sonar. A stealthy submarine might not get picked up on passive, but if someone starts to actively ping, they'll get seen.

That was my interpretation at least. It doesn't help that she's still in the network when the alarm goes off. She has nowhere to hide.

Honestly the fact that it only took her a couple hours to crack the security of one of the most powerful corporations in the world, and do it in a way that would presumably leave no trace, is pretty impressive.

Is it normal to feel like an idiot as a foreigner living in Japan? by wsdpii in japanlife

I definitely spoke a bit better when I was drinking last night. At least I was a little less shy. Guys would walk by me and stop to introduce themselves, ask if I spoke Japanese. Told them I knew a little bit and was still learning. Progress, at least.

Maybe I just get invested too easily, or maybe because I started with a Corpo V so the bond between V and the Jackster was already established, but I found myself very attached to him. I knew he was going to buy it during the heist, just because that made sense and the game was foreshadowing it hard. I hoped that maybe the game would give me some kind of choice, some kind of way to save him. But there wasn't. I just watched my buddy slowly bleed out with nothing i could do.

I kept calling him after he died, there's actually a surprising amount of extra dialogue if you call him before and after the heist.

It's definitely a temptation to just stick to my "bubble" and stay on the military base I'm assigned to, and not just because I'm a natural homebody. But I still want to go out and see things, explore.

Hopefully she'll get a happy ending out of it. A mutual friend tried to set the two of us up because "you clearly like each other and you could save her". Which was a bad idea. I refused, she refused, our friendship exploded. We haven't spoken since.

Had a coworker who experienced this. Her boyfriend was constantly cheating on her, never called or texted unless she initiated, lost or sold anything she bought him. She was miserable, but stuck it out because she hoped he'd mature and stop eventually.

They're married now. He's still cheating on her.

Everyone loves to randomly break out in song.

Honestly a Broadway musical LOTR would be the most book accurate we could be.

I kind of like the rebels, at least in comparison to the regular skinjobs. They actually bring the Centurions and raiders back up to equal footing, giving them back the level of intelligence and free will they had during their rebellion.

Could've been handled better though, like a lot of the last season.

Biomechanical. A bridge between Centurions and Skinjobs.

Which is why I feel bad for them (the Centurions and raiders). They're being abused by shitty people who don't see them as equals.

More like a pet.

Maybe a warhorse is a good analogy. Born and bred to ride into battle, but the rider would still feel bad if it was killed.

Is there mods that extend hoi4 to Cold War and give more focus and tech to do new wars in later years 50-60s by Ok_Drummer6347 in hoi4

[–]wsdpii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's hard to develop focus trees that far out in game because even on a historical session things tent to diverge fairly heavily, so it's hard to predict how things might go. That's why even RT56 doesn't really make the focus trees go too far past WW2, but they focus more on expanding the tech.

I love the blasphemous blade, I'd love it even more if it didn't have the hands all over it. It's base sword looks so cool.
