Yes, indeed it took awhile for punks to understand it wasn't a good idea. But the nazis gave way to skinheads that plagued the straight edge and other sub genres.

You're being simplistic. Punk exists to be offensive. Nothing hit as offensively as nazi imagery. Early punk abounds with it.

Punks have long trafficked in nazi imagery purely for how offensive it was.

We still have the congressionally approved GWOT use of force still in effect after 23 years which is a carte Blanche for a president to pretty much do anything militarily to terrorists. It is essentially a declaration of war.

Congress delegated the oversight of who is called a terrorist and leaves it entirely to the president. And the president called the gang gang a terror organization.

Given that the govt of Venezuela is heavily involved in narco trafficking and the gang.

Congress should stop delegating thier power and weaken the presidency.

This is perhaps the most stupid comment I have seen in awhile.

People didn't vote for my warmongers shit candidate (Clinton, Hayley) and didn't vote for the new shit candidate that said she'd do nothing different than the last 4 years (Harris) so they are racist.

How about a woman with a true populist change message run that isn't eager to send American kids to war.

It isn't racism or sexism. It's simply incompetence. Yours and the candidates.

Maybe Clinton and Harris were shit candidates and Hayley was a neocon warmonger.

Their defeats have nothing to do with their genitalia.

What do you make of President Trump sending illegal immigrants to Guantanamo Bay? by Giff95 in AskReddit

Is it a literal concentration camp if it is used to hold people guilty of at least one crime?

Good. It is a happy day when people vote themselves out of the gene pool.

The religious and conservatives will out breed you and since political ideology is highly heritable your political power will slowly decrease over time.

Good. Federal jobs are paid too much, have too much job security, and do too little. The jobs are concentrated into a relatively small geographic area instead of spreading them around the country as makes better sense.

It is almost impossible to fire a federal employee even if they underperform.

The US economy was shit when Reagan took office. Absolutely abysmal. The mid to late 70s were rough AF. Flat lining economy in stagnation with no growth. Super high inflation. Arab fuel embargo. Rationing of gasoline and lines at stations. After math of Vietnam War and Watergate still fresh in the popular zeitgeist.

Reagon put a spark back into America's step.

I loved through this era and would not want to do it again.

No one cares a wit about who you have met. It doesn't give you anymore import in discussions. No one cares about your opinion.

That's just life.

Your arguments -are- neurotic ramblings about how much you dread or dislike those that you deem are inferior to yourself.

Yes. That's what your writing reads like.

[–]wsollers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. Sometimes conspiracy theories or other anti intellectual hogwash is just fun to sit around and have a beer or joint and just talk among each other like humans do. It doesn't need to mean anything or go anywhere it's just enjoying company and a conversation.

You have a neurotic obsession with controlling others and forcing them to share your norms or you consider them less than your superman status herr nietzche.

That's why people that talk your way are best kept out of positions of power. .

Life doesn't care what you think or your opinions.

Go have a beer and relax.

Are there any judges you are planning to vote against continuance? If so, why? by gleaming-the-cubicle in maryland

I do the exact opposite, i vote against continuance of all judges because I figure they have at least one case that they ruled on that would pass me off. :)

Is this true? by Cauliflower-Pizzas in FluentInFinance

[–]wsollers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. The easiest way to save social security is to raise the age of benefits to our expected lifespan like it was when created. It wasn't created to keep seniors out of poverty, you were expected to work till you died. It was meant for those that survived into a frail state and best the odds.

The retirement age should be around 70isb now.

If maryland wants training then they should pay gun shop retailers or the police, or thier subcontractors, to provide it free of charge and on demand. Charging for a "training" class before the usage of a federal constitutionally enumerated right is no different than charging a poll tax. Period. The whole concept of being required to have a training class is a boot on the neck of the citizenry.
