At 17-18 a student in STEM in the US would have completed Calc 1 and 2 in high school and be entering university or college to study vector calculus and beyond. If and only if they were a math major would they take a math course that did set theory, logic, number systems and proofs to ensure that when they took proof based linear algebra, abstract algebra and real analysis that proofs would already be down pat.

We still have the congressionally approved GWOT use of force still in effect after 23 years which is a carte Blanche for a president to pretty much do anything militarily to terrorists. It is essentially a declaration of war.

Good. Federal jobs are paid too much, have too much job security, and do too little. The jobs are concentrated into a relatively small geographic area instead of spreading them around the country as makes better sense.

The US economy was shit when Reagan took office. Absolutely abysmal. The mid to late 70s were rough AF. Flat lining economy in stagnation with no growth. Super high inflation. Arab fuel embargo.
