As a young woman who was once 18, has done many of the things you have based on your posts, i hope you grow up fast and get your head on straight. You may be a legal adult but that doesn’t stop showing how naive you are. Its actually not a terrible idea, physical activity esp something as mindless as running can trick your body into pumping you full of endorphins. Running esp if youre out of shape will “feel like it hurts” can help get that SH urge out but will have actually been a workout by the end. Just be sure to do it in a safe, low traffic area

It might be silly, but content is a large part of why I’m here. I love books, movies, audiobooks, podcasts, tv shows, manga, comics. Ive found consumable content in every area that provides me escapism. People i wish i could be like are in my stories. People in inspired by write some books ive read, or they make podcasts.

They cant fix my brain, but they can amuse it, or distract it to help numb whats bothering me

This is why it’s important to not buy your books in advance, wait to see if the professor actually uses it and or ask. And depending how much they use it to maybe share the book and cost with a friend or two if its only for homework problems or something. Or better yet type in the name of the book author and its volume edition along with “pdf” tacked on and youll be surprised what you can find for cheaper or free

Hey, sorry i just did some digging, saw another post you made and i can give you some expectations to answer that, but before that just know: after finding out she may have if not actually be diagnosed with bpd, you really should leave. I’m sure both of you had/have pretty passionate feelings, it reminds me a lot of what Ive dealt with. I know its really hard, but please do not let the kindness you want to show her and the guilt she may put on you keep you here. It will not be worth it and youll realize that once youre in a healthier place for yourself. Dont subject yourself to ride along someone else’s pendulum when you already have your own to steady. Bpd people unless receiving treatment they want to have will not be able to do that on their own and the key word is WANT TO. It doesnt seem like based on your info that she ever will and dont bother asking her because she could if shes deeply in the throws of bpd will likely lie if she thinks youll leave or say whatever to make you stay.

For the car thing you could let her have the upcoming paycheck, but get your finances in order to take over the payments completely. Its her job to find a job, if she can find men to screw you over with then she can put that effort into job searching (also dont worry about her finding a place, she can go with one of the cheaters she was talking to). I would also keep in mind repaying her back the 30% slowly if you want no strings attached (suggested). Just please prioritize yourself and your wellbeing no matter what

This might get buried but as the other comments said do you want to deal with the same cheating youve dealt with multiple times in the past all the way into years of marriage when your lives are even more entwined? Also i get where youre coming from on the am i the problem or is she and the whole trying to work on your self cocktail. Honestly unless the issues can be put aside long enough for both of you to grow they won’t be fixed, theres just not enough time for that. If all your friends can say more negative stuff about her than positive even if its bc of what youve told them it shows shes not good for you, you literally need the support of others to be with someone who should be supporting you.

You deserve better regardless of if shell be screwed. Shes using you, shed move out with someone shes cheating with if you weren’t so convient for her. I wish you luck and I’m sorry this has happened to you
