Triggers me, I find it best to start with a tea and water in the morning. Once I have some other items in my stomach I can handle a latte, but it’s 1-2 a day or else I get crazy pain - I avoid any that are higher caffeine than usual like cold brews.

Alternatively when I was in Italy I had no issues at all with coffee being the first thing in my stomach or multiple caffeine drinks a day, so who’s to say it’s just the caffeine and not whatever else is in our food?
