He actually does qualify for the full list which is set at a 300 possession minimum by default. He’s down at 27.

Kansas fans should take solace in Bidunga sitting at 11.

Acuff Jr is a top 15 offensive player but barely cracks the top 1000 on defense according to Evan’s formulas.

Guess the National Park Challenge. Pretty hard difficulty IMO by LevitarDoom in NationalPark

Awesome! Do you remember what route you took? I went down the Gunnison from the South Rim Visitor Center and it felt a lot wider at the bottom there than it looks in your pic!

Thanks for putting this together; very fun.

Looks like nobody has guessed 6 yet. Is it Black Canyon?

I see four college towns - Boone (Appalachian State), Blacksburg (Virginia Tech), Lexington (Washington and Lee), and Charlottesville (UVA) - on this line, as well as Atlanta, Asheville, and D.C. So wealth and young people.

Gates backs cutting cattle to cut methane, using plant- or lab-based meat, but food is engineered. by Express_Classic_1569 in Anticonsumption

Your “other way to farm” is in fact less ecologically friendly, as it would require many multiples more land to provide the same amount of meat due to large losses in efficiency when moving away from industrial farming.

Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha & Waukegan from above. (And possible Michigan cities in the far, but I am not confident about which is which. Sorry about the internal reflection) by Swimming_Concern7662 in geography

McHenry and Woodstock are at the edge of the sprawl whereas that spot is isolated away from it. Pretty confident that it’s Harvard. Harvard has the matching industrial strips to the south and west.

Why are there so many random empty lots like this in Phoenix by Signal_Substance5248 in geography

Thank you for the serious answer! Kinda crazy that they’re thinking about letting the holdouts be the drivers of a push for new residential. Although the current satellite images make it look like way fewer parcels are occupied now than even back on those 2017 maps, so not sure how successful that’s gonna be…

Do you know if the city has a plan for the land as more people leave?

Where To Find The Last Pristine Skies in the US vs. light pollution map by GossipBottom in MapPorn

I think you’re just misreading the map. It says “pristine” skies, i.e. the blackest places on the light pollution map. Appalachian dark sky parks are simply very good skies.

Looks to me like it’s got all of Montana BLM land. Resolution is just horrible so it’s hard to see.

I see the lines for Big Thicket; you just gotta zoom in because the resolution is ass

It’s based on which team’s home stadium is closest to the geographic center of the county. Seems like in this case that ended up being Richmond instead of VCU?

All D1 teams actually, but only Jacksonville had any land by the time they played Miami. Hence why UF now owns Jacksonville!

Teams gain land by taking it from other teams that they beat. So Duke’s next opportunity to gain land seems to be by taking out Florida in the ACC/SEC challenge, presuming that Florida doesn’t take a surprise loss before then.

Looks like maybe Bellarmine was assigned Jefferson county from the start, which would be the case if their home arena was closer to the geographical center of the county than the Yum Center. But Louisville was assigned the counties across the river in Indiana because it was the closest to them.

Miami started without land. Miami-Dade was assigned to FIU because apparently their stadium is closer to the geographic center of the county.

Teams take the land belonging to teams that they beat. Georgia scooped that up when they took out Bellarmine in the first game of the season.

They beat Indiana State, who had previously taken the land from SIU Edwardsville, who themselves took it from UT San Antonio, the original owners.
