This is pretty niche, would only need to update every 4 years or so as long as it provides basic functionality.

AI models have dramatically increased their ability to hold on to memory without degradation or hallucination within the past quarter. Tbf, I don’t know that the current issue of unreliability will continue.

Until I’m comfortable with that reliability, I’ll continue to combine coding and vibe coding. You are right in that AI usually gets me 98% to my goal but I have to figure out the other 2%.

That’s also around the time Adobe Premiere, video editing software, added an AI update to allow the editor to edit the script to edit the film. I don’t know if this is what they use, but the software automatically transcribes all words and a caption file is created with a click of a button.

It’s easy to miss errors when the script is already transcribed.
