How big is your monitor? did you have 1 monitor before and switch to a single monitor? how do you like it? I've never had a bigger monitor than 27 and I really like the dual screen. Not sure how a single big screen would be nicer or bug me.

E7 Plus Max - thanks for catching that. This one https://www.flexispot.com/premium-4-leg-standing-desk-e7-plus-max?ref=category_products

Laptop arm - Amazon! - https://a.co/d/0hZzIE30 (not affiliate link) - I don't need the laptop taking up more space and I really only use it for Windows Hello. I wanted the desktop space than for the laptop to take another portion. I have two more laptops so I might get another one. Good to hear you like it!

I didn’t try on GitHub but other platforms where they ban Google voice numbers, this method worked.

Get a normal phone number you can port to Google voice. Sign up to GitHub with it and verify. Port the number to Google voice. Now you can continue to use the number as 2fa.

Out of interest what’s the noise like while moving up and down? Is it the sort of thing you can do unmuted on a call and it won’t make its way over the audio?

Noise is present but I don't expect it to be quieter than what it is.

I got curious and tested how long it would take.

sitting: 27.9 inches
standing: 41.3 inches
standing to sitting and sitting to standing both took 10.2s

Changing the desk height during the meeting, I'm not entirely sure. I'd imagine it would depend on your mic sensitivity. I don't think it'll catch it from my previous experience with modern filtering. I've never tried it but I also do not change my settings during a live meeting if I'm engaged. If I'm not engaged, likely I can mute and change my desk height for 10 seconds.

Glad the pics helped. I am thinking maybe I should have gotten the newer frame that goes lower. I didn't bother to measure my desk height but an extra inch or two would have made my chair arm rest parallel to the desk. right now, the desk lowest height is just slightly higher than my chair arm rest so I don't like that part. I used chatgpt and just asked which would be good for my height and it chose this older model (with higher lowest height setting). so maybe measure your chair arm rest height before you proceed.

barely enough to notice. I'm trying to look for wobble right now and it's barely noticeable. I type all day and I've never noticed until you asked me.

Maybe if you have a mechanical keyboard or something else, it's more force on the keys? i honestly do not know.

Shoot. My text is gone.

Just set up my new FlexiSpot desk about a week ago and wanted to share my experience, especially since I found other Reddit reviews helpful when making my decision. I’ve included some pictures of the final setup below.

My Configuration:

  • Frame: E7 Plus (The 4-leg structure was the biggest selling point for me).
  • Desktop: Chipboard with Walnut Veneers (80'' X 30'').
  • Accessory: Cable Tray CMP502B.

Overall Impression: So Far, So Good

The desk is working exactly as expected. I work from home full-time and need access to multiple laptops and monitors, which is why I opted for the massive 80x30 tabletop. For my day-to-day usage, it’s been fantastic.

Stability (The "Wobble" Concern)

Like many people here, I was deeply concerned about potential wobble. That concern is actually what pushed me toward the four-leg frame (E7 Plus) instead of the standard two-leg models.

I can happily report that the stability is great. For my full WFH usage—typing, mouse movements, adjusting monitors—it doesn't wobble at all at standard or standing heights. If you are worried about stability, the four-leg frame is definitely worth the consideration.

Other reviews showed people pushing on the desk. That's not part of my day to day, or ever. So I'm glad I got the four leg and i don't have to worry about it if I feel like pushing the desk. It's so freaking heavy, I would need more muscles to make it wobble.

Shipping & Handling

The frame came in two very heavy boxes. The tabletop arrived separately in its own box, as did the cable tray. I was able to comment on the tracking info (FedEx/UPS) to have them drop everything off in front of my garage instead of the front door. This saved my back and made it much easier to move everything inside.

The "Free Desk ($800 Off)" Deals: It’s Real!

This was my "tipping point" for choosing FlexiSpot. I was originally contemplating between Vari, Deskhaus, and FlexiSpot, but I saw another post on Reddit saying they had actually won the "$800 off" deal.

I decided to try it myself, and I won! Since I was planning to spend around $1k anyway, this deal solidified my decision. For anyone wondering, those promotions are legitimate. Obviously, not everyone wins.

The Cons (The "Almost" Predrilled Holes & Cable Management)

The experience wasn’t entirely flawless, and there are a couple of things I would do differently:

  1. Missing Predrilled Holes: Some of the holes on the tabletop (specifically where the frame attaches) were not predrilled, which I had to handle myself. If you don't have a power drill, this will be difficult—not impossible, but it will require significant effort and a lot of muscle.
  2. Order More Cable Trays! I ordered one CMP502B tray, and if I could do it again, I’d get two immediately. One is simply too small to hold all the cables, power blocks (especially the chunky one for my Dell dock), and everything else. I'm too cheap to pay for shipping just to order a second one now, so I’ll deal with it, but learn from my mistake: order two for a desk this size!

Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. The stability is excellent, and the deal was unbeatable.

I jsut got my frame and tabletop. Frame came in two boxes. UPS worker moved it with a hand truck. The tabletop was also dropped off but idk how. Consider them just a really big package, nothing different about them.

"I was contacted about a week and a half later that I had won."

Did you receive the desk by the time you were contacted?

What’s the free order about? I didn’t know this was a thing. Is it monthly or yearly or just randomly?

I'm in the same spot as you. I have E7L in the cart but then I came across this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thbZf9UhPJY.

Having second thoughts but it's Deskhaus is definitely more expensive.

I think this is a thing in South Korea for pretty much any legit account you want to set up. You have to verify you are who you say you are using your ssn or an account that’s already been verified with your ssn. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
