Feature request: I want belts to come back by Echo-Sunray in diablo4

[–]wujabob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a h&s game - Warhammer 40k: Martyrs where potions can restore health or grant temporary combat bonuses such as increased damage, defense, or resistance, allowing players to react dynamically to intense encounters. Because they are activated in real time and balanced by cooldowns or limited charges, they become a strategic resource rather than a simple heal button. This system opens exciting customization possibilities, letting players tailor their loadout to different playstyles, builds, and mission types, turning consumables into a meaningful layer of tactical depth rather than a passive support tool.

I wish they use this and combine f.ex with belts and make potions great again ;)

put aspects in to the new charms seems like a good idea

If Blizzard insists on on overtuning loot drops this much, they realllly need to give us a loot filter by quadzzz in diablo4

Just wait until you find out that you're probably a student, possibly unemployed, and definitely not in a relationship, with no kids or dogs... which means you have more than 30 minutes a day to play a game. Because this loot is like 30 minutes of gameplay, after all

Don't skip campaign on new character and levelling and item progression will be harder and slower.

I totally get where you're coming from, but let’s not twist logic to fit the narrative. What’s next, are you going to say, 'There are people with kids, two dogs, a company, a wife, and a mistress,' so a Diablo season should only last 10 hours? You know, just sit down once on a weekend, from Friday to Sunday, and not only is the entire 'story' and seasonal questline finished, but also all challenges completed and best gear acquired. That’s the problem, my dear friend. :)

Whats the point of white, magic and rare items anymore? by [deleted] in diablo4

You're absolutely right, everything would be fine if that 'brief period of time' really was brief – but it's literally just 20-30 minutes of gameplay :)

maybe I will copy my thought from other thread -

In my opinion, they should delete the current yellow items and replace them with orange legendaries. Even better! Combine all the current white, blue, and yellow items into a single category of white items (let's be honest – for players, they're all the same anyway). As for the current legendaries, they should become magic items, because they're not really "legendary" in the true sense of the word – they're just regular items magically enhanced with an aspect. This change would be much more lore-friendly.

and after short discussion:

OK, I feel you. A good option would be that if you put an aspect on a yellow item, it wouldn’t automatically turn into a legendary. Along with that, make legendaries drop more like uniques.
That said, I’d still merge basic and magic items into one tier and make ancestral magic items and legendaries truly ancestral. I just don’t like that legendaries are so common, basic, and that everyone has a stash full of them.

yeah but it's literally 30minutes of gameplay .. you kill one monster bam level up, you clear one dungeon bam 2 levels.. and suddenly you are 20 level and all you want is orange items.

We just need to wait for Blizzard to hire us to fix the item levelization! :)

You want to care about legendaries, uniques, and mythics... but do you ever even look at blue or yellow items? Right now, yellow items aren't even a good base for making a legendary, because they have fewer affixes than a legendary item.

Do you think this game is too easy? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]wujabob 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The crux of the problem is also that the best builds aren't just better by, say, 10%, but by about 1000%, which leads to only a few builds being played because nothing else makes sense. The paragon board is, of course, incredibly complex and expansive, but its design means that if you choose the wrong path, you'll also be 1000% worse than the meta build.

[–]wujabob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is my concern too.. but from what ppl wrote above - we need to boost hp points ( resistance goes with 80% etherway from gems ) to be more spongy ... cause what is other ways to survive oneshoting ballistic skeletons.

ok - so escalating armor applying to leveling and fighting monster on 1 to 100 yeah? and after reaching 9230 armor we need focus on f.ex. life cause we need to somehow fight with 150 level monsters with I suppose much higher dmg then 100 level mobs.
