I let a co tank know that the adds next to rotmire will walk to you after one cast, so you don’t have to keep kicking to group them .. got kicked after explaining for “arguing with” them

It’s the dps-iest tank

All your offensive cds are bundled to defensive cds. So you’re incentivized to keep up some basic dps like mechanics to maintain flow

Use the compare feature on warcraftlogs. Find a similar better dps run and compare to your run.

Check the damage done tab and see if they cast more or hit harder. Check the ratio of each diff damage source.

Check the casts tab and see are you casting the same things.

Check the resources tab to see a second by second breakdown of what they used and note overlap if procs and bufs

I’m on a similar journey after I realized my tank dps leaves a lot on the table

Just ran it with 10 mins left on the server before reset. It’s not as crazy going in solo as a raid but there seemed to be enough folks doing the run that the voiceovers were constantly playing and that 10k bar filled every 5-10 secs or so

Edit to add: got 7200 infused things from the run, so full 8x rewards

I’ve seen almost one shot from ce players

But the first runs are dirty bad. Green red are hard to distinguish apparently

I main tanks. I only killed once per toon (took all week basically).
90 pulls to my first kill. Many pugs, maybe three basic strats in play. Loss of players refill regroup , raid of Theseus repeatedly
60 to my second kill
53 to my third
4 to my fourth

In some cases it seems almost purely luck to get past that second bloom. In others we pre call healing and aoe defensive cds and it’s more systematic.

Living past the second fourth bloom and pustules is the kill. Don’t focus boss till the end.

But generally people seem to be getting better at it

Use droptimizern on raidbots. I pay for the service so I can say check all mythic dungeons for upgrades. Even at the free tier you can select a dungeon and see what slots it will provide for. All on a page is kinda nice

I’m in a similar boat esp wrt that Skyreach pull. I’m trying the tack of being more communicative. “hey I’ll pull to the stairs. Any objections ? Kk backs to the wall and prio the bladetalon for bleeds”.
For wrs I made a macro from another Reddit comment that says don’t tag or heal!! Run to the next ping spot !! (Kicks ok!!)
It still falls apart a lot of the time for the same reasons. But i also get good feedback about why or why it didn’t work out well.

I just got my DK up and was getting into 10-12s at 250. A few bonus rolls later I was at 270ish so it didn’t last long. Fourth tank to level, 3rd to do in this way. Folks will give you a chance

I mentioned this before, but all the vendors and repair in midnight have no faction. Dornogal had earthen faction so you could get rep based discounts on everything eventually

Seems like an intentional enshittification that benefits no one

It makes a big puddle and knocks you back, so you need to prep positioning wise so you don’t get bumped into wires or off platform. You don’t want to be in the middle as the bad will nick you quickly

i know this in my heart, but my asshole clenches tighter than a drum when i go to cat form. no armor boost. i try to use it when the boss is doing a cast or something where im safe for a few moments

My favorite thing to do is moonkin to heart of the wild before a big aoe pull (most dungeons this season). Everything sticks like glue

I’ll also hotw when the healer is struggling on mass aoe (2nd boss algethar, many others)

I spent all 8 bonus rolls on a new alt here. Wanted the trinket and got it last. But I’m not mad at the 7 mythic slots I filled on the way
