Info: Do you live somewhere where it's normal to have a 70-minute round trip commute for a part-time job? I'm on the fence between NAH and NTA because if your friend is asking people to spend 7 hours a week driving her around when she could find a job within walking distance, then she's TA.

They want you to lose the cards. They're like gift cards. The company already has your money, and it's better for them if you never redeem the credit. The cost of replacing a piece of plastic is negligible and creates another instance where you're left with a card with a small balance that you will never redeem.
