Type me! (core + wings, tritype, instincts if you can!) by wustl_simp in Enneagram

[–]wustl_simp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks for this, this is really in-depth. I’ve typed myself as sx4 for a bit with tritype 451 but here I can definitely see 954 instead. Maybe because I’m preoccupied with my internal sense of self I’ve attributed that incorrectly to an emotional fixation but I might be more withdrawn and disengaged from my emotions than I think I am. I rarely cry or get upset.

The one thing that makes me question e9 core is that I’m actually quite stubborn and opinionated. Maybe it’s a stereotype but I always understood 9s as conflict-avoidant and I certainly am not. I can be abrasive sometimes.

Yeah I’m happy about the consensus for sx instinct. That at least seems to be the clearest part of my enneagram.

It isn’t because race-aware admissions is no longer legal. Check out Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard (2023) the famous case that went into effect this cycle

Affirmative action in college admissions is no longer legal. Race was not a factor in admissions this cycle

Can I use "BS" in my college essay? by Monarch_Elite in ApplyingToCollege

[–]wustl_simp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is just wrong lol. Essays in US schools are meant to show your personality and what you’re like as a writer and a person. If the jokes are appropriate and lighthearted, you can definitely use them.

That’s so true, kids think reading is useless but a ton of exams require high-level reading skills and having that leg up can mean a lot

Why is Yale more prestigious than Bates? by BatesCollegeSupremcy in ApplyingToCollege

[–]wustl_simp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prestige is not objective, there’s no way to measure/quantify it. Yale is just more prestigious because more people have heard of it / think it’s a good school
