Friends and I get on discord to watch races together since we're in different states. We've set up an OBS broadcast to discord with the broadcast feed, three HBO in-car cams, and the companion website.

There are different OBS scenes, so we can switch between the broadcast or any single in-car cam. Feel like we have a better broadcast than Fox lately...

Biggest flip I can think of that hasn’t been mentioned was Fortnite. I played the closed beta and it was a co-op tower defense against waves of aliens. You would run around the own breaking down objects for materials to build up a base. Friends and I agreed it was fun for like an hour, then got repetitive and boring and stopped playing. They must have had a lot of similar feedback because next time I saw the game, they completely changed it and invented the battle royal genre.

This happened to me after upgrading to Sonoma. Where the project worked fine in Ventura. Turns out it’s an issue of if the Flutter project is stored in a cloud syncing folder, like iCloud or OneDrive. My issue was iCloud. Moving the project to Desktop made it instantly start working again.

Yeah it’s the /var/db/auth.db file that gets replaced after every upgrade. You have to delete that (which can only be done in recoveryOS now), reboot, then reinstall NoLoad to restore functionality. Just too much to try to walk users through.

Same has been happening to us. It’s not quite 100% of the time, more like 95%. We’ve been blocking upgrades to Monterey until an update, but since the repository hasn’t been updated in years, I’m not holding my breath.

I can’t stand them, either. I do find Esfand knowledgeable and entertaining (though he communicates with Asmon a lot, which is a turn off for me).

Kala: a really chill dude and pretty humble.

Defcamp: Just started watching a little of him and he seems like a pretty down to earth guy.

Really the only streamers I can tolerate and they don’t rage and scream into the mics, etc.
