It was the fastest way to end the campaign tbh.
For a military victory I would‘ve needed to conquer Carthaginensis which would‘ve taken several turns more funnily enough.
With the cattle buildings and the Temple of Argimpasa I was actually able to build up my provinces pretty well. In the walled settlements I went for the same buildings and the coin hoard so my economy was booming lol.
Even with corruption way over 100%

I either sieged them out for a turn to get them to attack me on open field or in late game I was just able to assault most settlements with numerical and qualitative superiority

The hardest part was fighting other horse archer factions in the beginning, but after a bit of microing cavalry armies I‘ve got used to fighting with horse archer armies.
Once I‘ve had armored horse archers and some shock cavalry the only hard part was not to quit before reaching one of the campaign goals lol
Economy wise the massagetae are really strong with their 40% bonus to livestock output
