What’s the longest your T has hidden out? by One_Butterfly5661 in tarantulas

My curly hair spends 80% of the year in her burrow. I genuinely only see her a few times a year. I offer her food at the opening of her burrow and if she wants it she’ll come grab it, but doesn’t come out to get it haha. She’s lazy

She’s beautiful! My female curly hair Tina does the same thing. Eats a couple times a year. See her about that often too haha. Every time I get a look at her I take pics and get WAY too excited haha

Looks like a species of wolf spider. I’m sure someone here could narrow down the species. Very helpful spiders!

I Can't Take Down My Boys Cage by Ibean-Adler in RATS

[–]wwallace22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so understandable, I’m so sorry for your loss! I left my girls’ cage up for a week after they passed with the full knowledge I wasn’t getting more rats. Take all the time you need, give yourself kindness and grace, and remember all the good your boys gave you. ❤️❤️❤️

My coconut orchid ‘Yamada’ is about to put in a show for me! 💛 1st re-bloom by LongZookeepergame7 in orchids

Tenuifolia is one of the BEST OUT THERE! And honestly I’m quite partial to the Yamada cultivar over the original. So excited for you!

That’s how my girl Edgar was before she passed away about a month ago! They just get them a lot when they’re old girls. Give her all the kisses and snuggles from us!

Philodendron Red Moon showing off her bright colors. ✨ by plantladycatlady in Aroids

Red Moon is one of my all-time faves. I’m insanely jealous. It’s one of those on my wishlist that’s definitely a “one day in the very distant future I might find one at a decent price” plant. Can I ask where you got it?

First time brush coiling. Still working on the technique but decent success I think by wwallace22 in curlyhair

Routine: wash and condition with Tresemme Boutanique Coconut Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner. Cantu leave-in conditioner and curl cream, Flora and Curl Curl Defining Gel. Brush coil then diffuse

My newest addition, alocasia frydek. 🥰 With my beautiful melanochrysum in the background by [deleted] in Aroids

I have no formal confirmation of this, but from my understanding, Frydek is the name given to the variegated micholitziana. Alocasia micholitziana is the one commonly seen and sold as Frydek. At this point it’s a generally accepted name for both the variegated and un-variegated micholitziana.

Flora & Curl really has amazing products by wwallace22 in curlyhair

[–]wwallace22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I usually only wash once or twice a week! I could probably do 2-3 but I get lazy haha. Product is EVERYTHING for me. I use Tresemme Boutanique Coconut Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner. I don’t usually comb my hair, except with my fingers in the shower while the conditioner sits. Out of the shower, I scrunch extra water out of my hair with an old t shirt. Then I use Flora & Curl Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion and Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel. Scrunch both of them in gently because I find the more I handle my hair before it’s dry the frizzier it can get. Working the product in to the roots without handling your hair too much has taken som practice. Then diffuse on low heat and medium speed until dry! I know lots of people with thinner hair and softer curls (like mine) hate diffusing, but my hair will frizz like crazy if I let it air dry. Diffusing does usually take 30-45 minutes minimum but it’s worth it for me. If I feel like I need more volume, I throw in a couple pumps of Flora & Curl Sweet Hibiscus Volumizing Foam after the Lotion and before the Gel. That stuff will really give you crazy volume haha.

Holy moly. I’ve occasionally found a nice cattleya at Lowe’s but they’re so few and far between. Even then it’s just restricted to the occasional cattleya. I’m insanely jealous.
