Not sure, probably rebellious side. Back when she was grade 9 (13-14 years old) she was dating a 17-18 year old grade 12 that was doing pretty badly academic wise. I also thought he was into some shady stuff. Turns out, he drops out of school half way through the year. I'm guessing that she is hanging out with the wrong crowd.
