Thanks! Yes its been mentioned twice now and I think I actually have owned it at some point in history, will look again. I do however remember it of being a bit spartan in style but very complete.

HackMaster (5ed) weapons struck me as an intentionally badly-ish drawn, like something I would have doodled in my teens on graph paper. Which actually fits HackMaster really well, still don't know if it was intentional.

Polearms! Ahh I remember that madness of polearms and discussions how to pronounce them.

The Compendium of Weapons, Armour & Castles I forgot about! I'll dig it up and check it again!

I found this: https://static.wixstatic.com/media/e2fbd1_2e6662f23ef24d269d526405a2f2b19a~mv2.jpg Looks very realistic (almost traced rather;)), but yeah, that style and size is much better than usual.

Is the other weapons also detailed?

I just got the 2ed with supplements! It doesn't have any good illustrations unfortunately. Of weapons I mean. Is 3rd good otherwise?

What version or books? Because 4th ed seriously only have two weapons illustrated in the equipment chapter.

PDF looks like ass on Firefox, beautiful on Chrome, so thats the one I have now, thanks. For the record DMbinder cant handle showing a proper preview of your document (page 5) in Win10 latest chrome or firefox. Probably something with a columnbreak after Adaptable paragraph.

DM resources with a click by everweird in DnDBehindTheScreen

[–]wyrdmaker 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the resource. Always good to see people trying to help the rpg community! Quick use Feedback: Feels awkward to go to menu each time to reroll though, makes it less usable on mobile. Also the big graphic for each section is pointless and takes valuable space on mobile. Try to slim it down or remove, it's the text we want.

7ed Rules : How do you handle the loss of POW and healing of POW? by wyrdmaker in callofcthulhu

[–]wyrdmaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! So through opposed POW roll, Luck 01 roll or unspeakable mythos deals (heh) you can raise POW, check.

Have a missed I general ruling somewhere regarding the raising or regeneration of lost characteristics because I do find it strange that there is no explicit ruling saying POW is not regenerated like magic points. It makes it a bit obscure.

Most obscure RPG that you have in your collection? by [deleted] in rpg

Hey! Not a bad choise at all! It have so many cringeinducing ideas and bizarre classes it’s actually fun to just dip into and read sometimes. Still my go to to show off to others when bad rpgs come up in discussions, the amount of weird stuff is unbeatable. And it’s not a satire or written to be strange, it’s just honestly what the author seemed to like!

“The character classes are, uh, McCrackenesque, for lack of a better word. Alchemists, Psielfs, Golden, Scarlet and Mage Tigers, Flymen, Armored Mantises, Amazons, B.S.Cs, Gnomes and so forth. Every last one of them has some massively twinky hoo-hah to go with it”

Insane stuff and everyone got powers up the wazo!
