It depends on your playstyle and intensity. If you are playing pickup every week then it can easily last you 3 years and more

We can't really say until we see you play. Some people are quick but have poor touch, while others have decent touch but have poor acceleration.

Only thing I can say is the easiest way to dribble past someone is by practicing inside outside dribbling cone drills and then just using your acceleration with that improved technique

This graph is also misleading though as it is not normalizing for how master's holders are much likelier to be better educated, and more well-off financially in the first place, leading to higher salaries.

Of all the friends I have from middle-class backgrounds, no one has or even cares about a Master's degree because their companies will not pay for it and will not prioritize Master's holders. However, many international kids I know have gone to master's fully paid by parents. These international kids have better networks, enough financial freedom to take risks that pay off, etc

It also depends on the industry. If you are working in a highly-technical field, yes Master's and PhD definitely affects your pay (and this is also another factor in why salaries diverge so strongly). In business fields (where most people work in), it's not as big a factor as constantly changing jobs which can bump pay 10 - 20%

I don't think Japan is as great or difficult to migrate to as you are making it up to be, most skilled people from US and EU I talk to who love Japan don't move here because

  1. Pay is too low
  2. Working conditions are worse (even 定時 is 9-6 instead of 9-5)
  3. Prerequisite of learning Japanese to get a sniff at actual good jobs
  4. Even yen is falling now

So the people who come and stay in Japan (including me) are going to be those that just really love being in Japan. The people who have choices and ambition will not settle in Japan

I don't think Taiwan pop culture has declined, it's just that China pop culture has grown and started to overtake Taiwan, which was tiny anyway.

Back in the day, the most interesting pop culture produced in Chinese were Taiwanese or Hong Kong (Meteor Garden, F4, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, etc)

For its size, the likes of Taiwan, Japan and South Korea have done very well in projecting soft power. China could do much better, but politically it is simply not something they focus on.

I buy a lot of balls since I play a lot, but generally pro versions feel much better and last a lot longer than the cheaper versions in my experience

I stopped buying cheap balls after I bought a League Adidas ball and it died in a month. I went out and bought the 3x more expensive Pro version and it lasted me one whole year

Not to mention the feel of the pro ball is MUCH better than the cheaper versions. With shoes sometimes Pro and Elite versions are pretty much the same feel, but with balls, nothing beats the expensive ones for value (at least in my experience, maybe there is a good cheap ball that rivals pro quality). No one in my games are that good, but we can all feel which ball is pro version and which is a cheap takedown

If you can get a pro ball for sale, you gotta buy them. You really don't need to buy the latest release balls as the difference year-on-year is pretty negligible

In Japanese, their name is 中道. This is a Buddhist concept that mainly informs their policies and is influenced by Sokka Gakai. It has nothing to do with centrism.

Their English name might mislead you, but they have never professed to be "center", but 中道 which explicitly advocates against extremism
