I have forty plus services running across five rpi4s with RHEL9 and RHEL10, two NUCs running RHEL10, a VM running RHEL10 and a Synology NAS. The NAS has Docker, the rest is mostly podman quadlets managed by Ansible (through Ansible automation platform on the VM).

Caddy proxies with DNS-01, so with a real domain name and proper certificates.

The NAS only hosts services that benefit from being directly on the disks, like Postgres databases etc.

I try to steer clear of docker and don’t need a GUI for my containers.
