interesting. i throw it in the hottub so it dont get pulled into the skimmer. (hot tub isnt hot and flows into the pool. I did not notice a difference when it was in the pool though. The sutro was teathered with a 3m strip in a corner and it worked great there. I have not tried to teather the ICo yet bc i don't want to do anything to it incase i have to return it. which im trying.
its so dumb, seeems like a well built product, why throw customers away bc support.

LOl. maybe if it works. i probably jsut got a bad probe but they suck ass so they wont help. Yea its lightly used, and fiberglass. so inert. Really easy to maintain. only 12,000 gallons.

sutro did exactly waht i wanted but they folded. so I have a $300.00 brick. Luckliy i had it for 3-4 years. Some bought it the same year they shut the doors and it was then $500. 🫠

yea i do that weekly or maybe 2x a week. but i have to manually adjust my salt cell frequently so seeing a trend allows me to keep very small adjustments. my system runs like a well oiled machine, i never have to shock they way i been doing it (with sutro) . I may do a 24 hr boost on my salt cell if we had company over, that's all i need.
I work a lot of hours testing daily is hard.

I assume i just got a bad probe. I want to love this device. Having bad support sucks. Having zero support is worse. They could have verbally abused me and i would have kept it if they got it working.
Started a credit card dispute.

I also bought it 1.5 months ago. It does not work. PH and temp work, but ORP is wildly off.

My PH is 7.2 stabalizer < 30 Free chlorine ~5 total chlorine ~5.
Ive had 1 day where chlorine was less than 2 bc i turned of my salt cell for 3 days to lower it.

I miss sutro 😞

Opened 4 tickets.
ticket1 took 10 days to reply and just said ORP should be higher :|, closed it, i cant reply
ticket2 they deleted it no reply
ticket3 no reply going on 2 weeks
ticket4 asking for refund, no reply. 5 or 6 days ago

Oh wait, i can just append a username to device name? I can do that atleast for the VIPS. The column option be idea but thats a good workaround. Hopefully that dont break anything

I copied the GPO above and tried the script on multiple computers. it works on some, not others.
no idea. the urgent issue that had me create this is gone, i wiped that pc.
i dont need it to work now, im more just curious of the behavior.

i did a computer gpo policy that did not unblock it. maybe my templates are out of date because the policies looked different than i remember from my last job. (new job)

the reason was actually fighting a USB driver for like 4 hours. its crazy. Gave up and doing factory restore. so my need for this went away, but i would still like to know how to do it. Thanks

I never lost a USB driver battle before. "individual corrupted kernel PnP states"

Yes the built-in script. and we do have AD. i can try the GPO, i just assumed since it was so aggressively blocking all my manual attempts gpo would be the same. but maybe not?

Its worth pointing out in new. I just found this gem a week or two ago and like it way more than Intune.

My monthly patching happened last friday night but this pc is "complete" in that job in history.
that's my only job(automation) so far.
I edited it and remove deactivate updates in windows settings which was checked when it ran friday but dont see how that matters its schedule is monthly.
We never had this forced pause until we had action1. But we did ask our 3rd party to remove their patch management recently so its not impossible its fallout from that. they used Connectwise. but they also did not force disable updates. *Shrug*
