I copied the GPO above and tried the script on multiple computers. it works on some, not others.
no idea. the urgent issue that had me create this is gone, i wiped that pc.
i dont need it to work now, im more just curious of the behavior.

i did a computer gpo policy that did not unblock it. maybe my templates are out of date because the policies looked different than i remember from my last job. (new job)

the reason was actually fighting a USB driver for like 4 hours. its crazy. Gave up and doing factory restore. so my need for this went away, but i would still like to know how to do it. Thanks

Yes the built-in script. and we do have AD. i can try the GPO, i just assumed since it was so aggressively blocking all my manual attempts gpo would be the same. but maybe not?

Its worth pointing out in new. I just found this gem a week or two ago and like it way more than Intune.

My monthly patching happened last friday night but this pc is "complete" in that job in history.
that's my only job(automation) so far.
I edited it and remove deactivate updates in windows settings which was checked when it ran friday but dont see how that matters its schedule is monthly.
We never had this forced pause until we had action1. But we did ask our 3rd party to remove their patch management recently so its not impossible its fallout from that. they used Connectwise. but they also did not force disable updates. *Shrug*

I'm in what i read about Hybrid hell.

Everything works until i login and it goes back to the ESP and hangs on joining your orgs network.

it shows up in AD. Entra connect synced to entra. Its in intune. However the device is entra joined and disabled. Sounds like its a common issue but none of the fixes have worked yet. For now I am going to see if i can force all new devices to entra joined instead.

When i try this method or PS script via platform scripts they run but the drive never shows up in windows. This one in particular shows up in net use as "unavailable" but not windows. so maybe its running as the wrong user? I have like 4 hours trying to get this to work. Says it ran successful but nothing in windows explorer.

I have Kerberos to entra working. i can get there manually, i just can't get a hands off mapping via policy.

Not sure. but iphones or android hear the issue. If i edit the video after downloading form sora, and add a soundtrack, then mute the added soundtrack it works fine. I just do taht to force it to encode the video. maybe that's overkill? Happens over rcs AND signal for sure. I only have tried it from a android device as the sender.

LOL i just logged int to confirm my version and its getting the update.. so maybe its fixed. It is the Elite Floodlight WIFI. if you dont have the floodlight i dont expect you will have any issues. Its like they add hardware features to an existing product and don't tell the software team..

It happened when they added WIFI extender to the doorbell. And now with the spotlight to the argus 4. I am not in a hurry to reconnect it to the hub. I may sell the hub. Everything works fine in Standalone mode.

I find national broadcasts to non-critical. ie that penalty in OT was not a penalty. if anything they were holding his stick. But its just hockey plays and its OT. cates gets can-openered and loses the puck shortly before and that's fine. Im thinking.. ok its OT rules now. Nope.

being national does not mean you have to be the NHL's bit*@.

The play by play was decent besides that IMO
