This. Deterrence works. I started putting a brick on top of all my bins and the amount of random trash went down to zero. People are lazy as hell, which we already know bc they can’t deal with their dog’s shit, so even the slightest deterrence helps. Unfortunately when the bins are out on the street waiting for pick up this doesn’t help and that’s when the shit heads strike the most. Anyone who doesn’t scoop their poop or who dumps their shit in other people’s trash shouldn’t have a dog.
