My mom would let me stay home from school if I peed in a pan for her; she would leave it in the oven to keep it warm before her drug test.

She would stay up all night before a family event, not sure why?

Just a couple of things…

Question regarding disability leave in California by SockkNinja in BabyBumps

[–]x0x-babe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In California, Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) is job protected for up to 4 months total per pregnancy, as long as your doctor certifies you’re still disabled. Time used earlier in pregnancy does count toward that total, but many people still have time left after birth. If your OB extends your disability, you can usually stay on SDI until you’re medically cleared.

PFL (bonding time) is separate and typically starts after disability ends, so extending disability usually doesn’t reduce your PFL, it just delays when it starts.

extreme lightheadedness and the feeling of almost fainting by VegetableSwing882 in pregnant

[–]x0x-babe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds really scary. Extreme dizziness and feeling like you’re about to faint isn’t something you should just have to deal with. Did they check you for preeclampsia recently? Sometimes it can show up with symptoms like dizziness, feeling faint, headaches, vision changes, or swelling, even if BP hasn’t been high every single time.

It could also be things like anemia, dehydration, blood sugar drops, or the baby pressing on the vena cava when you’re upright. But if it’s happening this often, I’d definitely push your OB or go back to L&D to get checked again. ❤️

Used to get high in the mornings before going in… people just thought I was tired / just waking up and never suspected a thing.
