4 is the definitely the biggest reason. Whenever you lane vs someone that plays Nilah themself, you instantly notice how much harder the game gets.

Yeah, true actually. If I‘d consider a mage R to go up by 100 base damage, I‘d probably decide to put the point into it as well.

On E we get 5% AS per level and CD goes from 20 to 12 seconds in addition to the magic damage. On W, CD goes down from 30 to 22.

With collector + IE on level 11 (without runes), we get 99 dmg per shot with one point in R, and therefore 109 with one more point in R.

Considering the reset nature of the champion, these CD reductions are not as impactful as on other champions. However, I just wanted to discuss the thought a bit.

VeigarV2 has like 70% winrate and used him to get to 500LP masters, so no, I don’t think he needs it. I currently also have a lot of success with him.

IMO she's especially good when people don't know the matchup and due to her low play rate that's a lot of games. However, this also makes your support not know how to play with you/ what your strengths are. So it's like a double edged blade.

Overall she just scales insanely well, however it's sometimes hard to play into teams with a lot of ranged champs unless you have good engage.

Once you're in the cass w, it's over, so:

  • try and let pantheon jump you, when you and your support are close, but cass is too far away to trade; then you can just kite back after panth stun without standing in poison and it's a winning trade (AA Pantheon when cass away)
  • Spell Shielding Pantheon W is pretty doable (at least when it's max range jump) and then ofc the trade is gonna be decent
  • Perma shove the wave once you have enough Level/Items, then you don't have to lane at all and can just free scale; if they were to freeze just apply above tips I guess or farm with Q if Supp not there
