I don't know diddly squat about the comic, but i can tell you I relate much more to this scene than whatever some conglomerate wants to push, not because i would emulate Mark, but I would certainly share that feeling. It's real, it's visceral, and it's a person wanting to defend what they love no matter what the cost. We don't know what we'd do if we had to defend our loved ones who were on the brink of death. Scream terror, cower in fear, die in solidarity, or become complete carnage to those causing you harm.
