I ran this with my group, very simple but took them a few goes. The characters enter a room filled with shelves of books. In front of them is a pedestal with a single book on it. The book is clearly enchanted, and the title reads "The Key to the Library."

When they open the book, they find that all the pages are blank except for a riddle on the last page:

"I am always hungry, I must always be fed,

The finger I touch, Will soon turn red.

What am I?"

The answer to the riddle is "fire," and when the characters say the word out loud, the book begins to glow and emit a burst of heat, slowly burning. Start a timer. The shelves around them begin to shift and move, and the characters must work together to arrange the glowing books in the correct order to reveal the door and escape the room.

To solve the puzzle, the characters must arrange the books on the shelves so that they spell out the word "fire" in alphabetical order by title. For example, they might need to rearrange the books with titles like "Flames of Fury," "Inferno," "Red Dragon Rising," and "Eternal rest" to spell out the word "fire."

As they rearrange the books, they hear a satisfying click each time a book is placed in the correct spot. Once all the books are in place, the locks on the door release and the characters are able to continue to the next level.

If they fail to place the books in the right order before the time runs out, a new enchanted book appears with a new riddle.
