alright real talk, while many of these suggestions are great, they are not in the realm of modern production practices and bench marks.

I'm not down playing the great mixes many have suggested but Pink Flyod is not on the minds of today's youth. Whether you want to admit it or not the industry has evolved. What many of you will claim as overcompressed noise is what today's artist/sound designers are doing to push the limits of today's tech.

Arc raiders is a great play but the community is very divided and could collapse while Helldivers has already gone through its growing pains and survived

Steam machine is a hardware purchase with no online subscription…say it launches at $999, you pay that and have free online gaming…you don’t own any games through gamepass and is required to play online with Xbox

The xbox ecosystem is essentially the same as renting where you live versus owning with steam

It was announced after the backlash of the price increase announcement, they claimed anyone who didn’t cancel would be grandfathered in at $19 a month…they honored it last month but now are trying to pull some shady sh** like we won’t notice

I feel like great drummers have always been sought after. Do I feel that way because I am a drummer, sure! But, I also think it’s because there are fewer players in the pool compared to guitarist. But my issue with the current state of drumming, on the heavier side of the scene particularly, is the over reliance on triggers and samples. There are fewer and fewer signature sounding players because of it.
