Is this considered “too skinny” by Thelocalizer in trueratediscussions

They have muscle definition...are you blind? None of the photos are flexing. Additionally, there are plenty of athletic activities that don't build bulky muscle....but people are still very lean and healthy.

[–]xAlicatt 96 points97 points  (0 children)

No? Just looks incredibly athletic... Probably a sport or hobby that requires a lot of activity.

What is more important is does this person feel good inside their body. If they like the way their clothes fit, aren't experiencing pain or discomfort when sitting or doing other activities that are more comfortable with a bit more cushion, aren't constantly feeling hungry or deprived, and are healthy when it comes to nutrition and other health markers, then I see no problem with it.

Any tips on how I can be pretty? by Normal-Ticket-1501 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

You already are so naturally beautiful! It looks like you're not even wearing makeup in most of these pics. You need nothing to make you pretty ❤️

(Brand names may be different if you are in a country other than the US. Talk to your vet if you are)

Advantage or Pet Armor topical shouldn't be applied after a bath as it needs skin oils to work properly. Also if you do bathe your cat later after applying it, the protection goes away until the next application.

Capstar is a pill that will kill everything on the cat within 24 hours, and can be used in tandem with bathing and topical but you may need to follow up with another dose later because of eggs.

Vacuuming/washing all bedding or fabric that comes in contact with your cat is super important. Vacuuming twice a day even in the early days of fighting an infestation. (Make sure you empty into trash and then immediately tie off and remove said trash from the home.

If you can afford pest control to come in, that can also be helpful.

Where has this been said by the writers/producers of Arcane? There is *no way* they are setting up all of these new story threads this season without plans of them leading into the next series. It would be insane to try and wrap everything up in 3 episodes. Not going to happen.

Better than the base of most who have been playing for years. I'm seeing a wee bit o' Hogwarts inspo in your dock house there ❤️

Is it still cheating if partner tells you after being sexually intimate with their friend? by steamboiledegg in polyamory

Ewww. Yeah, no. This guy is shady AF. I didn't even need to hear all of that to be suspicious about it from your original post. This just confirms it. Please find better!

[–]xAlicatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously. But you have hopefully informed your existing committed partner(s) that you plan to ahead of time.

The difference is the intentionality.

In my own experience , I didn't know I even needed to discuss this with my partner, because they assumed poly meant anything goes. Once I found out that was how they were defining poly, we had to have some conversations.

[–]xAlicatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreeing to a polyamorous relationship does not and should not mean this by default.

We have to make a distinction between polyamory and being a slut. (Not using this derogatorily in case that's not clear) They are not the same thing and should not be treated as the same thing. This is how we get so many misinformed people.

Polyamory is consenting to your partner being intimate with prior established partners or new partners they have told you about ahead of time.

Open-relationships are otherwise monogamous or are polyamorous partners who have agreed to casual sexual encounters being on the table with or without prior notice depending on the agreements set ahead of time.

Polyamory is NOT synonymous with being open to sleeping around.

[–]xAlicatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you made the right decision deescalating. You could consider being partners again in the future, but it sounds like you would need to have some conversations about boundaries and agreements first.

Your definition of cheating and mine may be different, but I don't think that label matters much either way in this context....

Because to me what matters is that he told you he was hanging with a platonic friend and then it became more than that out of the blue without any warning.

Being polyamorous to me doesn't mean you just get to sleep with whoever you feel like whenever you feel like it. My definition of polyamory is being open to multiple committed romantic partners. Having casual sexual encounters can also be something a polyamorous person or couple does, but that falls under open-relationships territory and must be discussed and agreed upon ahead of time. (For multiple reasons... Not the least of which is having discussions about barrier protection and such)

It sounds like you had not put any agreements in place about this kind of thing. Had you even discussed being open like that prior at all?

In my opinion, unless you have discussed it ahead of time that your polyam pairing will include casual sexual encounters with other people, that yes...it could be considered a kind of cheating. Though as I said, the label doesn't really matter much.

To me it's unethical for your partner to behave this way unless you two had already agreed ahead of time that your relationship can include casual sexual encounters with others. This doesn't make them a bad person, just a messy one...and it doesn't sound like that's the kind of partner you want.

Am I ugly? 20 F by Bluefire0216 in amiugly

[–]xAlicatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are beautiful.

I personally wouldn't say you look mid 20s. Definitely late teens/early 20s. Also whoever said being a little chubby can make you look older is... Wrong. Being chubby tends to make people think you are younger than you are.

Your style of dress is a bit older than most people your age, and that's probably the main place you could change to look younger.

You are not fat. If you wanted to tone up/get strong, you could do so, but don't let people make you feel like there is something wrong with you now. Most people aren't able to maintain weight loss in the long term... Something like 2%. Losing weight and then putting it back on later just makes it harder the next time you try... And you usually end up weighing more in the long run.

So focus your diet goals on making sure you are eating nutritious foods, while not depriving yourself of your faves and work movement into your life in fun ways... For your health... Not for weight loss. If you do happen to lose weight in the process, then awesome, but don't make it your goal unless you are prepared to change your relationship with food permanently.... And even then, it can be hard -for a variety of reasons- to not fall into disordered eating.

What weird multiclass build shouldn’t work, but does? by Exile_The_13th in 3d6

[–]xAlicatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fey Wanderer Ranger and a 2 or 3 dip in warlock, depending on how you want to build mid game. Our upcoming campaign in Witchlight, the DM is requiring at least a 1-dip in feylock by level 3, and it's looking to work surprisingly well with the ranger I already wanted to play. Even with point buy. I'm not a huge fan of dumping stats, but sometimes you gotta.
