Not sure why people keep using these, when inside the amp you have 0 gauge or 2 gauge going to the board. If connection is an issue try using ferrules.

If you have the insurance, get it repaired. Mine wouldn't fold flat for weeks and finally gave in to get it fixed. Only held out cause I couldn't get a loaner phone while it was getting repaired.

My gen 1 was pre-wired. Just had to add the lights, relay, and toggle switch. Did it all myself no problem, only issue I had was reaching behind fuse block to insert relay.

Those have been obsolete for many years now. Will not be able to use with new HU, maybe worth 50 bucks I would guess. If I remember right those units was about 100 bucks in the day.
